Work sucked. The kids’ first full day of school was interesting. I need beer.

There are now three locations. The only one I've been to is the South Lamar site. It's on my way in and out of town and they brew Electric Jellyfish at this location. The IPA I had today was really good. Dank, piney, resin. Went nicely with the pizza.

 

Our refuge service is owned by a guy that was once a student of my wife in public schools. His brother owned it but committed suicide. How he died was gross.

My trash is at the end of the house. These guys go down past the driveway to get it. I am not strong enough these days to wheel it up he hill to the road. I try to make it easier on them by recycling our county trash.

 

Mask mandates?

 

Plate of food looks so good. You just gave me an idea for lunch tomorrow. Looks like it'll be the Chinese takeout for sure.

So this has never happened to me before. My new Duvel opener literally broke the mouth of the bottle (tossed the bottle. I don’t want to consume glass). I put the bottle in the freezer for 10 minutes or so, but it was nowhere near freezing. Weird.

There was a huge techno party in Orange, France last weekend (sister city of my hometown of Orange, CA). I was still in France, but it was in the South and I was leaving the next day anyway. Replay is on at Club Raul right now:

 

This Triple Dry Hopped IPA from Imprint is bangin', I'll probably pick some more up this Friday as my wife wants to head back down for more cans (of other stuff). It's a bonus when the wife digs the beers from the same brewery and she's the one asking if I want to go down there for the Friday can releases. => She's a "k-e-e-p-e-r".



Definitely a recommended try right here, fellow beer nerds!

Thanks for the heads up. I was given a gift certificate for Imprint last year and have no desire to drive there for fruit slushy beers. Glad to see they have an IPA.

Done with beer. Opened another bottle of wine. Got some awesome Mexican food delivery. Shit. Their seafood dish is awesome.
