Has anyone tried out the TH ciders from the new place in CT yet? Me and a buddy picked up 2 of each bottle the other day but haven't started busting into them yet. Probably gonna be what we drink as we homebrew

Nice to see King Julius pop up today. Just crazy to see the list of available cans. I remember the days of feeling lucky to get even 1 can of a beer like Very Green, King J, Very Hazy, etc.

It's funny, the amount of time's I've been up in the last 2 years and I haven't been able to get KJ or JM since each one's first Charlton release in 2018 (2 hour lines for each).

But yea, the selection on any given day is insane

Its wild when you place your order, and find yourself saying things like, "I guess I can do without Very Hazy today"

Yep, and they were fine. I had to remind myself it is cider and not NEIPA kitchen sink hop bombs. I would surely rank em up with New England Cider Co which I enjoy as well.

Interesting, looks like 4 packs of Trail available at Woodstock. Wonder if they intend to drop more beers there.

Good to know, thanks bud! Any particular ones you tried?

And yeah I think they've done that a few days for offering beers. I have a tendency to browse the menu of all locations while I'm bored at work lol

I was actually disappointed with QM Amarillo. It's good but not so good by Tree House standards, at least in my opinion.

I do agree that Green and Alter are on point. Julius is good as well but not quite there.

I'm happy to see TWSS again. I once called that my least favorite TH beer but that's utter crap. It's amazing how much flavor is crammed into that beer with the only adjunct being lactose. I'd swear there was 5000 lbs of chocolate in each batch.

Had the cans, the name escapes me. Good, nice and dry cider. Then shared a bottle of the black raspberry. I’ll probably get some more of their ciders once the air turns cooler, or if they have cans of green!

I know, I had to pass on Julius. A classic but too many new ones to try

Trillium posting Galaxy shortage woes while Tree House hyping their Galaxy beer onslaught in the same week. Fun stuff.

Hi, I'm totally new to BeerAdvocate, and I'm also fairly new to craft beer

I'm planning for a travel for craft beer next Jan, and i'm thinking about visiting Tree House Brewing, as it's one of the best breweries in MA.

I'm sure that i can't drive to the TH, so I want to know where to ask for a car share or a carpool to TH.

I'm willing to pay for the ride, or trade (though I don't really have beers to trade), and i don't know if this thread is okay for this kind of article, so if anyone has idea for the carpool, or a trade, please tell me what to do

    Thanks!

Drinking my last bottle of The King now. Even after a few months, it has started to go sideways. I had one bottle the week of release and it was really good. I guess I shouldn’t expect banana to age well

If they don't age well on our counter tops we shouldn't expect them to age well in our beers.

Bigger guys like Hill Farmstead and smaller shops like Long Live also pumped out galaxy centric beers last week also.

HF is not bigger than Trillium, not by a long shot. Trillium brews and sells far more volume than HF.
