When life gives us lemons, we make lemon ale! We’ve squeezed the bright, spritzy flavors of Meyer Lemon and Strawberry into another round of our tart ale, Pink Lemonade.

Puffery

We’re all puffed up with pride over the third installment of our Puffery series. This upcoming round is a Munich style Dunkel brewed with aromatic Tettnanger hops for a malty, complex sipper.

The Time Keeper
(7% abv) $18/4pack
Our tribute to Oregon running legend Steve Prefontaine, The Time Keeper is a hazy IPA with Citra and Riwaka hops. Clocking in at 7% abv and chock full of classic New Zealand flavor and aroma, this beer is swiftly becoming one of our favorites.

Macademics

We’ve solved for X with Equilibrium Brewery to bring you Macademics! This imperial stout is a carefully calculated equation of macadamia nuts, cocoa, coconut, and vanilla, double-mashed for one thiccc array of taste.

The temperature is rising out there, so let us bring the beer to you. We are expanding our local delivery service in Portland AND rolling it out for the very first time in Seattle, all through the Great Notion App.

Choose beers from your nearest taproom, and we’ll deliver to you within ten miles of any Great Notion location. Just pick Doordash delivery when adding items to your cart, select a delivery window either same day or next day that works for you, and we will take care of the rest. If you're within the delivery zone of our taprooms, skip the UPS Ground shipping and get it sooner with DoorDash delivery!

Make sure you have your ID ready to be scanned when your Dasher arrives - delivery cannot be completed without someone 21+ to accept beer on arrival.

Marshmallow Peanut Brother

These big flavors are brothers from another mother. This imperial stout is stuffed with creamy peanut butter, rich chocolate, and marshmallow for a beer you’ll love to pieces.

Strawberry Fluff

We've missed this cotton-candy inspired tart ale with all the melt-in-your-mouth goodness of the real thing, so it’s back to fluff up your summer! Strawberry Fluff is a sticky sweet froth of strawberry, vanilla, and floss sugar that brings the carnival to you.

Double Stack

You’ll flip for this batch of our signature flapjack-inspired stout, Double Stack! You already know and love this imperial stout loaded up with buckets of maple syrup and aged on locally roasted coffee beans.

The return of this love child of Blueberry Muffin and Juice Jr. has us all twitterpated! The best of both worlds - the tropical Mosaic hops, blueberry puree, and vanilla - come together in this fruity hazy IPA.

New Hours

We are happy to announce that our NW, Alberta, and Beaverton taprooms will now be expanding dine-in service to 7 days a week, beginning on 7/26!

You’ll be able to swing by Sunday to Thursday from 12-9pm and Friday and Saturday from 12-10pm for drafts, food, and to-go 4-packs every day. We can’t wait to see you soon!

Please note that our Ballard and Georgetown taprooms will still only be open for dine-in service Wednesday to Sunday.

Juice Invader

Orange Creamsicle

The ice cream truck never brought you a treat quite as yummy as our Orange Creamsicle. Amarillo and Motueka hops, orange puree, vanilla, and milk sugar meet in this milkshake-style IPA for a sweet treat even better than your childhood favorite.

We went all in with raspberry, cherry, strawberry, cinnamon, oats, cheesecake, and graham cracker for a smoothie-style tart ale that’s a royal flush of fruity fortune.

This is one heck of a thick smoothie with a lovely cheesecake-forward flavor, alongside a powerhouse of berry goodness to match. Cinnamon and graham cracker tie it all together for a slice of decadent dessert in a can.

NW Menu Update

Happy Friday! Or should we say FRYday?

We’re bringing Carne Asada fries and a Philly Cheesesteak to our NW location this weekend, and these food items are here to stay.

We’ll still be offering our current menu selections of sandwiches as well, so there’s something for everyone!

Pride

Take pride in who you are and let it shine. We’re roaring about Pride, a fruited IPA with grapefruit, brewed with Citra and Vic Secret hops. Proceeds from the sale of this beer will be donated to the Q Center, the largest LGBTQ+ community center in the Pacific Northwest. We are thrilled to be a part of this year's #Kulture4DaKids initiative created by our friends over at Beer Kulture!

Hungry? Let’s taco bout it.

We’ve brought back the Crunchwrap to our NW taproom! This vegetarian delight comes with a griddled black bean patty (you may add steak for $1 extra), onions, tomatoes, slaw, a crispy corn tortilla, nacho cheese, avocado sauce, all wrapped up in a flour tortilla. *vegan if cheese is omitted.

We’ve also added fries and our Philly Cheesesteak to the Alberta menu! Come on by and let us do the cooking tonight.

*Please note that we will no longer be offering the tri-tip steak sandwich at our NW or Alberta taprooms.

The Rock On brewing project benefits the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, which provides financial assistance to musicians and music industry workers struggling to make ends meet due to COVID. We will be donating a portion of the proceeds from our Rock On Lager to Sweet Relief!

Love and Ritual

The history of brewing extends back into the deepest midst of human experience. From sacred practice to modern machines, the secret of great beer lies in careful attention and loving observance of time-honored traditions - along with plenty of creative rule-breaking, of course! To celebrate what we love most about beer, we are bringing back Love and Ritual, a hazy IPA with Citra, Sabro, and Nelson hops.

Jammy Pants (Guava, Boysenberry, Black Currant)

You know we can never get enough berries over here at Great Notion, so we brewed up a batch of an old favorite. Jammy Pants (Boysenberry, Blackcurrant, and Guava) is jam-packed with tart berries and a bit of tropical guava for sweetness.

Stone to the Bone
(8.3% abv) $20/4pack
Don’t worry- you won’t turn to stone after feasting your eyes on this mythical hazy DIPA. Stone to the Bone was brewed with enough Citra, El Dorado, Mandarina Bavaria hops to charm even the most sinister of snakes.

We asked you all if you’d be down for a new spin on a GN classic, and after receiving an overwhelmingly positive response, we’re stoked to unleash this exclusive first look - just for subscribers of 3Notions!

Holiday Hours

Hey GN Fam! Great Notion will be closed in observance of Labor Day on 9/6. Here’s what you need to know:

-If you place an app order for pickup on 9/5 or 9/6, you will have an extra day to collect your order to account for the day we are closed.

-Doordash deliveries will be unavailable on Monday, 9/6.

-Online customer service will be out of office 9/5 and 9/6, but any email inquiries will be answered on Tuesday, 9/7.

-Please note UPS will not be operating on either Sunday or Monday, so shipping times will be affected as well.
