I'm surprised Mikerphone has defenders. I thought most BAs had actually tried enough of their "beer" by now to gag at the mere mention of it.
I'm definitely not brimming with perky, bubbly, happy go lucky positivity.

What's ironically hilarious to me is someone with a Larry David profile picture thinking that's a valid criticism about an attendee of a beer share. Sounds like you wouldn't survive five minutes at one of ours. Not for the meek, it takes a certain self-loathing constitution to even live in NEO for more than five minutes, so imagine the type of folk that have fallen so far as to resort to having beer shares.

It’s going to be epic. Last time they did ticket sales like this there was like a 2 minute delay and even then it didn’t load right.

So help me understand this please. For 16 days, they are releasing a limited amount of packages, every hour, from noon to 5pm. Everyday. Do I have this right?

yes. So when you go to buy a ticket you will have to choose your day and then pickup time. For most of their releases it’s been 10-15 per hour. MD it was like 30 per hour I believe but may be off.

most likely there will be like 60 per day
Which would mean close to 2K bottles.

    Really? They can complicate anything.

Attention Proxies: Payment must be made in full for all bottles at the time of pick-up; no prepayment will be accepted.

So a proxy purchases the beer, and then resells it to the person who bought the ticket? Ummm... ok.

This is how they did Mornin delight 2020. But assassin 2020 was done with paying upfront.

my wonder is if it has more to do with they get full proceeds by having it paid for at the brewery and doesn’t have to pay the website they use to host the sale.

I could be wrong, but I figured that was what the ticket cost paid for. It looks like it's five bucks instead of ten before buying the bottle, so it's down a little from some other releases?

I wonder what kind of profits they are making on sales before even selling the bottles?

Previously they were $5. Central waters was usually $10 but would donate proceeds to a charity. I assume that they take a percentage of large sum too but I could be wrong. Obviously that would be the best way if encouraging proxies, which TG probably isn’t too keen on that as they make more money off of you coming to the release and buying more food/beer/merch while there than one dude picking up for 10 people.

I could have sworn we paid $10 for an Assassin release, but it's been a while, so could definitely have been wrong. The charity idea is definitely a nice way to do it.

You’re probably right. I haven’t won an assassin lottery since 2019 when I showed up for lunch one Saturday and the first 100 people who signed up got tickets.

Anyone know if your proxy must pick up at the time/day on your ticket? Or can a proxy just go at their ticket time and pick up for others as well?
