Anyone else disappointed in the Queen Machine series? I don’t really know what they’re going for. I taste less juiciness and less body than their other ipas.

 

I've had 2. Azacca wasn't great, Loral (or whatever) was much better

 

I had Amarillo and thought it was above average by Tree House standards.

 

Does anyone know if Charlton has vvvery hhhazy on tap? Tickers gotta tick. The link to the draft list on the website appears to only take you to the order page.

 

Scroll to the bottom of the page, "Draft List." I do not see vvvery hhhazy listed.

Only had the Amarillo one. Definitely disappointing since that's a top 3 hop for me. It's still good but not Tree House "good".

But my palate sucks.

Back on the beer:

There are a couple new lagers I'm eager to try - Quaint (kellerbier) and Idle Mind (Vienna lager). Anybody tried these yet?

I'm eager to pick some up, but I'm trying to hold out until they've got Nomad back in the lineup as well. If I could score a case of lagers including Quaint, Idle Mind, Nomad, Wanderer, Trail, and the Oktoberfest (which I hope they'll have out soon) I'd be thrilled.

 

Right Place is quite good. The oak presence is very subtle but it's a nice lager.

Also I'm definitely enjoying this batch of Julius. Other than that 8/8 fiasco (or whatever date it was) a couple years back, they seem to have it locked in.

But again I don't have a refined palate so whenever I have it it tastes the same as I remember.

Anyone know what collaboration the rebrew is "Three" supposed to mimic?
