Holy fuck $30? What does this include? Besides a Stein I already own. I don’t remember if I even paid to get in last time. Maybe $10?

I think just entry and entertainment, and a stein for the first 200. Unless I missed something. And I’m with you, I bought a Notch Stein during COVID when they were doing can pours onsite in Salem (and was happy to do it).

Is the festbier available in bottles now or is it only a release this coming weekend?

According to Instagram somebody asked and they responded it’s just for entry and a stein for the first 200 as you stated.

I’m definitely going, but I also don’t own the 1 liter stein from them (I do have the half liter though). Going to try to get there around open to make sure I get the stein.

Bottles are for subscription members only. Festbier goes on tap this weekend as well.

Yeah, just having trouble talking myself into it. If I bring my girlfriend and she has a radler and I have two beers, we’re in for $84 before tax and tip and food. :grimacing:

Yeah, true. Is the $30 cover for Salem too?

I remember they brewed double the amount this year so they wouldn't run out, plus they're not canning it. I bet it lasts awhile.

No difference mentioned for the event relative to location in the IG post.

$30 includes the liter steinkrug and the first liter of beer. We'll make that clearer. You can simply enter for $15 if you do not want the krug & beer.

Sounds good, I do believe we’re going to go. Gonna make the early trip in to walk the carts and stores then head over to the line early to get in. Any BA’s that go feel free to say hi

Ugh scratch that. Salem is Sunday so I’m out. Fuck. Wish those were flipped flopped so Saturday got the OG event. Brighton wouldn’t be the same(for anyone who needs the days)

I'm definitely going, not sure what time. It will be another multiple Oktoberfest party weekend.

I've been away three weekends in a row, leaving my wife with the kids. Am I leaving her again, and for what Oktoberfest party?

So, Notch now has an N/A pils available as of next week (see their IG).
I, for one, LOVE this and hope that it is a great as I expect and that at least one gets put my subscription box next month.
    Thoughts from the group?
p.s. I’m old and need more good N/A options, but that’s another thread.

I’ll definitely try it. Their “Here Comes a Regular” series was great, and those were all sub 3% if I recall correctly.

I like mixing in Rescue Club IPAs at home every now and again. I imagine I’ll do the same with these if they’re as good. Wonder what the calorie count it?

Here at Notch right now. Sadly the festbeir is not on.

But a full on liter of Tmavy…yes. Why is this beer so god damn good.

I hope everyone has fun tomorrow

I mean, the event in Salem is tomorrow so it sort of doesn’t make sense to put it (festbier) on today. That said, Tmavy is absurd, and I am also drinking a liter of it.

Inaugural Oktoberfest at Notch Brighton. Awesome event and I was stoked to be able to pop over for a bit. Hard to beat with this space. Much larger capacity than Salem and I love the OG. It was pretty full/full, but never felt overcrowded. Line for entry was minimal and beer line(s) were rarely longer than a few people, if at all. Plus, weather always a key and it was perfect today.

Liter of Festbier then a liter of Tmavy.

    Tmavy rings.
