No change in quality that I see, but If someone doesn’t think Jean still has a heavy hand in all decisions and the beer, then I think they are wrong.

    What makes you think that?

Quality is still good, but there's been a notable shift away from the big DIPAs they were cranking out for a while there (DDH and otherwise). It's a more balanced lineup these days; unfortunately, not towards the styles I appreciate. The main reason I haven't ordered lately is that there's often only one or two beers I'm interested in, and I don't really want to do the whole four 4-pack thing for only one or two beers. I actually don't agree with the comment above . . . I think if Jean were still involved, we'd see a lot less variety and more "big" beers.

You may find this hard to believe, but Jean is a lager lover and the subtle truly tasty saisons. As far as big beers he truly loves the Russian imperial stouts and all the wacky variants.

As far as personal taste -- yeah, that totally checks out. As far as what he prefers Tired Hands to release as a business -- doesn't seem like this is his major preference.

I believe that . . . I just know that the relative dearth of big DIPAs has coincided with his "leaving," whatever that may or may not mean,

Still quite a bit of hoppy beer on the online store and a couple DIPA but, agree, as a percentage of total offerings, it may be a bit less than before. I would expect they get pretty good profit margin on a $15 Helles Lager. Why anyone would pay $15 for it given the competition, I’m not sure.

Any signs that the hoppy beers aren’t moving as quickly? Older product sitting on the shelves?

I'm a couple hours away, so I usually have it shipped UPS. About a month ago, I ordered some Alien Church as past of my order, and it was two months old . . . not good. Really wish they would do DDH Grassman, DDH Alien Church, or even Daily Personal Best soon.

Just to clarify what you mean by "not good", were the Alien Church beers you received not good (i.e., didn't taste good)?

    Cheers!

No, I mean that's not good to ship out two-month-old Alien Church straight from the brewery. (It also wasn't very good taste-wise, AC is one of those beers that fades fast, but I mean as a business practice.)

Thank you for that additional input as well.

Think what? Quality has not dropped IMO, and Jean? He is the majority owner. If you think he doesn’t have a hand in what they are brewing/operating/doing, then you are delusional.

I don’t think I said that. Anyway, you’re clearly just picking a fight. Good day to you.

Jeremy, will you be attending the Only Void event this Sunday? If so, please provide a report on it (e.g., was it a well attended event?).

    Cheers!

I'm afraid I will not be in attendance on Sunday. However, I am attempting to purchase the 3 stouts (Only Void, OV, Bourbon/Rye BA bottle) today at noon.

    Cheers!

I know last year the only good stuff sold out in seconds…will be interesting to see how it is this year. Agree this forum has been quiet. Stuff just isn’t selling out like it has in the past. Surprised Ouriserva is still available. Such a great beer and yet it it sits

I'm not into IPAs or saisons so normally I do not visit Tired Hands.

Looks like the variety pack sold out. Everything but the OV, Pumpkin variant, and BA bottle is still available on Dudley Direct.
