Tree House (2021)

Drinking a Four right now and it is definitely a great beer. Big flavor, smooth, full body...wowzers!

 

Nah. First canning of VH was so insane. But it's never gotten back there for me.

I'll also say I flat out don't like King Jjjjulius much. Of the 4 hoppy varieties I got (BoC, Green, In Perp, KJJJ), it's a distant 4th in terms of enjoyment. Something about these mega hopped beers just not sitting right with me.

 

Second on the KJJJ comment. I did enjoy this most recent Very Hazy but at best it tastes as good as Haze used to taste all the time and now only sometimes.

Speaking of which, Very Hazy available for purchase at the Pats game. Pretty crazy.

 

TH posted some very impressive pics of Sandwich (in and out drinking space) and the inside is the background of their ordering home page (the one where you choose location) ... must be getting close to pours there?

 

I think it looks awesome, excited to enjoy a beer there next year

Who is the company that's been selling breweries those tan tarps all over the country? They have become seemingly ubiquitous over the past year, popping up at every brewery with outdoor seating, and they suck.

Considering they're completely useless in providing shade from the sun, whoever's selling breweries on these has been laughing all the way to the bank.

 

Not familiar with the building or area but it looks like there is not nearly enough room to support the usual demand that TH sees.

 

It's a reservation-only setup I believe, so they get to control demand

 

In this case, I yell for the clouds to move in.

The concrete patios I often find these at usually reflect the sunlight to blinding degrees, and these cheap tarps only provide a modicum of shade at exactly high noon--a time when most breweries aren't even open, particularly around here.

 

It appears that Sandwich is open right now for pours...

A little hyperbolic and over-dramatic lol, but more importantly that’s definitely the right response.

 

I think Shaun and Nate were in the same writing class. The one where you learn to state the right thing but in an overly intellectual way that comes off pretentious.

I just wish they would simply say “We had a bad batch that got by us. We’re fixing the problem so it doesn’t happen again. Really sorry about that.” It’s not as fun to read though.
