Great tune - a classic imho. Johnny Rivers was great.

Rivers is still touring, however, performing 50 to 60 shows a year. Increasingly he has returned to the blues that first inspired him.

 

I've had two so far, obv the two I posted this evening. I am a big fan of their hop game so far. I'll keep tooting their horn, I know that much. Would LOVE to see Cush w/ Nelson in double format, my God that would be a home run

 

If there was a "LarryV's Place" where they played that kind of music I'd be a regular.
There's an EddieV's in Ft. Worth and Dallas but I've never been there.

Made it. What a day. Did my first group run this a.m. with a local running club, since... 2008? eek. 6 a.m. tempo run was brutal but then at least had time for prep, writing up notes, teaching, etc.

Now I'm here, after too many meetings.

This is pretty different ...I guess I would classify it as jazz fusion. I actually recorded this on a Tascam 4 track cassette recorder. You can get a lot more than 4 tracks if you do it right.

 

Not sure how this happened but, other than a few stouts, I am now out of beer!
