In holden Beach sharing at a beach house with @hoptheology . Phase three triadic harmonies. This was amazing. Huge grapefruit, rinds, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, pine, wheat, cracker. Large sized aggressive pine/rind bitterness. Med-plus body. Centennial, citra, Amarillo, Simcoe. This is a lot like ruin ten. Very mid-west. The nose was insanely dank and enormous. 8/18/21 date. 4.3

Always had a soft spot for that song, very commerical, but also will never say no to most Abba songs..

 

I will ignore the whiskey mostly because I will want a shot of bourbon.

Out of beer! Not sure how I allowed that to happen. Anyway, gotta make a Veil or Triple Crossing run tomorrow.

Sox/Stros. Went to the Doc yesterday & the stiches ain't coming out for another 2 weeks. Other than that he was happy. No hot tub until the stitches come out . I can't figure out a way to do it without SCUBA gear.

@hoptheology made an outstanding 16 percent English barleywine. Reminds me of Jw Lee's. Lots of toffee, caramel, maple, vanilla, oak. Light dark fruit and herbal hops. There was a bit of cinnamon sediment hits but seriously big props for this. October 2017 bottle. Lots of deep complexity. 4.2
