I don't understand the griping about slow shipments, left Tavour and made it to PA same day. Damn.

Did any of those Anchorage stouts make it on your radar?

I think it would be fun if you could leave comments under beers that come in your feed for all to see. If enough people put a comment like “lame”, under a bad beer, or “do not want” under a seltzer maybe they would stop appearing in your feed.

Saw this as well, and thought the 6 limit seemed high compared to some of the rarer Anchorage releases. Does anyone know what it went for last time it was on Tavour? Right now it's up for $49/375ml bottle.

Maybe $35? I could be wrong though. Maybe I'm recalling the brewery price.

Just dropped a 4 pack of "Super Rare" Anchorage stouts on my feed. $135, limit 6 per even though it's super rare. Basically it's all the leftovers of what they didn't sell out of in the past.

Haha, I had the same thought when I saw that it was limit 6 with 4 repeats. Wendigo is still up with its limit 6 as well so it seems like these pricey Anchorage bottles may not be selling out as quickly as they'd like.

Are the Tavour prices on these Anchorage bottles in line with what they are priced at when they hit retail? I know they are ridiculous but thought I had heard that’s pretty much the going rate…

They don’t hit retail at too many places but I remember last year a lot of the BA Anchorage was $75 in Cali while it was 50 on tavour and 30-35 at anchorage.

So all it would take to save $15 per bottle is a flight to Alaska? Tempting…

I might be done with Tavour. I said that after my last crate but then they dropped Creature Comforts "Awaken, my Love" on my feed and I had to have it so I caved. I designed my entire crate to just be stouts (and one pumpkin beer because...well, anything by Prarie Artisan Ales is a weakness for me.) I specifically do not buy IPA from them but guess what I got instead of my Creature Comforts BA stout???

If you guessed an IPA I didn't order you'd be right! Instead I got some beer from Unseen Creatures called "The Child". Lol! Clearly whoever pulled the inventory saw the word Creatures and thought they were good.

Of course I immediately contacted customer support, who I didn't hear from for 7 days, which is an improvement since it was 9 days last time. They offered to refund my shipping, which is fine, but there is a bit of a price difference between what I ordered and what I got, and all I want are the beers I ordered. They probably refunded me $4 when you consider the price difference between the beers. I emailed them back to ask if they still had the beers (they should if they keep a digital inventory, but that also would have caught the mistake probably) and also point out the price discrepancy but haven't heard back yet.

Creature Comforts has a special place in my heart and I was really looking forward to that beer...

It was good, but the cinnamon was a bit too much for me. Don't be too sad.

Had BA Nightmare Fuel from River North pop up in my feed. I've always wanted to try that. So was pleased to see it show right before my crate closed. Actually tried to trade for it a few years ago and got crickets.
