I went to my local distributor this weekend and inquired about Sierra's Northern Hemisphere. They said that they haven't heard whether it will be released this year or not.

I try to pick up some every year that it's available. Does anyone have news on this?

If it didn't show up yet, looks like your distributor might not have gotten it this year.

OP, a bit disappointed here too. In this thread, SNT has said its distro this year is spotty so I'm not holding my breath here. You might get lucky in the East Coast coverage he mentions there. I'm still checking their beer finder for it for no apparent reason at this point.

Hoppy Sampler pack does not seem to be coming here as well. And the club store variety pack? Probably not either. At least Celebration Ale should be here within the next week hopefully.

Where are you in PA? I'm in the Philly burbs. I was able to get some but it was the last 6er. SN's beer finder seems to be a little wonky on this beer too...

Still n/a here in the OC.

Over the years I find NH to be a flip of the coin in both quality, distro. Some years excellent, others not so much.

I won't buy it if over 30 days.

Glad to see Celebration coming soon in cans

So this is likely not coming to MN? WTF, Sierra Nevada?

    Thanks for the info.

It doesn't look like there's any in Eastern PA this year

I checked Tanczos and Shanty's already. Link in Coopersburg is my only realistic hope remaining.

We usually get some at one of our major craft distributors. But, there have been years in the past when we haven't. There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to when we don't get it.

Last week in a different thread I posted:

"A beer retailer local to me just announced they got some in:

    “12oz 6pk Bottles Sierra Nevada

Northern Hemisphere Harvest Wet Hop IPA

    "Bottled on 9/21/21"

The beer retailer is Capone's in Norristown, PA.

    Cheers!

If it weren't for Michael Jordan, this would sadly be a fine city's greatest legacy.

Just MHO, but I think the lack of diversity on the beer shelves could very well be to the abundance of hard seltzers.
Even in my area there was at one time enough different beers to chose from. Enough to satisfy me, but not so now.

And that six pack is probably $20.99 there :stuck_out_tongue:

Found some in my local grocer's cooler today here in Flat Rock (about 20-25 minutes from Mills River) for $12.99. However no Celebration - in talking to the grocer beer guy they will have 6 packs next week and 12 packs in early November, or when the Oktoberfest beer is gone.
    Cheers, Tom

If you are willing to drive to NC it appears you can get it for $12.99.

    Cheers!

Ah, Flat Rock, the ghost of Carl Sandburg, and the vaunted fresh Norther Hemisphere. I'll get my brother in law to grab some.

I was just on SN website. It does not list this beer even as a seasonal. Even in the last previous years when the made it, it wasn't sold anywhere in my area.

I wonder if the Sierra Nevada CEO, Jeff White, decided:

I had better luck using Untappd. It popped up at a couple total wines and I grabbed two sixers but I haven’t seen it at any bottle shops which is weird. It’s probably my favorite beer of all time and I am afraid to say it might be the last year they do it - just looking at the craft landscape, founders harvest not being distro’d and there were only two other ones I saw, both local. It’s a logistically complicated type of beer to make that doesn’t fit into the modern palate of low bitterness/high citrus IPAs. It sucks. At least Celebration is pretty close and will be around for longer (I hope)
