All $ spent at the brewpub for dining or to-go counts for rev reward points, correct? Thanks!

Correct, just make sure to let them know when you get your bill. They can track it by phone number or email.

Reg > Cafe > Rapsberry to me. Deth was light years ahead of the other two. Each year I keep saying Reg is the best it’s been. Loving the progress!

Okay - I'm a "Rev-Head" - a huge fan. But when I first read your post I took it as pandering, like you were being a total Rev nerd. (more than me, that is)
But I went and opened a 2021 Deth's Tar on a fresh palette, and you're right - it is so damn good. I was going to give Cafe top ranking so far, but regular is just fantastic for me that it takes top billing for now.
It will be BIG fun to see how how it stacks up against all the other Deep Wood releases to follow this winter. (not that it's a competition, it's just fun to rank them .

I'll be buying another pack...or two.. FOR SURE! Raspberry was one of the weakest fruit adjunct Deths to date. Something is either off or missing. But my second can was better than my first... still lacking. My .02. Cafe still great but I'm coming off quite a few packs of Supermassive so the order is TALL!

Yep. Showed up downstate. $24.99/12.99 for Deth, $32.99 for Cafe. Happy find after a very long week and a half day of work today. Can't wait to pop one tonight.

Had dinner at the pub last night and Cafe > Regular >>> DbR

Cafe was excellent, Regular was very good (didn’t love it as much as last year’s, but I REALLY loved last year’s), and Raspberries was … uh, let’s just say not for me.

Looking very forward to all of next month’s releases.

I think this is the best batch of Deth's Tar, ever.

I got so many random flavors...peanut brittle? Granola bar? Chocolate mousse?

I need to really have a proper tasting session, but the draft version at the taproom and a can I shared at a hangout last night have me positively ecstatic about this version.

I was trying so hard last year to spend as little (no?) money as possible, that I didn’t even buy a single can of DT. Given all the rave reviews this year, I am excited to pick up a can soon and see for myself. What I remember liking so much about DT when I first had it was the “creaminess” that I don’t get from BCBS. Hopeful it still has that quality. I know there were a couple years I did not care for it as much (one of those being the year there was a portion of VSOD mixed in). I was in the minority I seem to recall, though.

Is it the beer or have you not washed your mustache for a while?

im gonna go with nope on the PB, but mostly because I drank one and I’m still alive lol

    (I have a peanut allergy)

it’s a wonderful batch this year. I actually really like Raspberries and might need to get more

I’m thinking we are in the minority on raspberries. I REALLY enjoyed deth by cherries last year, almost too much some would say

That's what is so great about beer without additives...it can evoke forbidden fruit (in your case, anything with peanuts) without actually causing danger!

In a less extreme case, IPAs that evoke citrus without actually USING citrus fruits are always more enjoyable to me than 'fruited' IPAs.

Brewing is truly an art form, and eschewing 'cheat codes' leads to the best results, in my humble opinion.

Enjoy the dance with your forbidden peanut brittle mistress! *

*I also have a trash palate and may be way off on this peanut brittle note

I liked Cherries quite a bit, enough to buy it twice. I still can’t tell where Raspberries is compared to it…guess I need a few more to decide. It’s certainly more tart.

touché, just thought it a funny comment. I’m just glad it’s DW season
