If anyone is in the bay area and wants to split a shipping case I'd do it, just don't need/can't finish 24 cans of DIPA before they get too old in my fridge.

Today is the LAST DAY FOR CURBSIDE PICK-UPS and I am bummed as hell. Curbside is how I finally got my hands on cans on the regs without having to stand in lines hoping stuff doesn't sell out before I get to the front.

It's going to be all walk-up after this. I don't have time for that most days, sadly. I wish we could still buy online and pick-up later, even if we had to stand in the same line with everyone else to pick up--this would be a stress-free compromise, imo, but I suppose they have their reasons.

Walk up isnt so bad. But it depends on the time of day I guess. I dont think they'll be any lines these days. At least nothing like in the past. I'll drive in on my way home from lax and pick up (830pmish) and theres no one in line. But curbside pick up will be missed.

I have to think part of the reason you haven't been seeing many lines is BECAUSE they had pick-up Mon-Weds, but whatevs. I guess we'll see how it goes.

If this means they’re not gonna have a bunch of options for delivery anymore I’m afraid I must cancel them.

If shipping continues to be smooth, however, they are uncanceled.

But Monkish cans aren't selling out for DAYS. Even TIPA's are lasting 2, sometimes 3 days.
And the lines are not long at all. Once the tap room opens, I've never waited more than 10 minutes on walk ups.
At one point a few weeks ago, there were 13 cans to go.
In 2021, if you want Monkish and you live even 45-60 minutes away, there is no reason you can't get cans.

Fair point, but I still prefer to drive there knowing my beer is already paid for and waiting for me compared to *hoping* I get what I want when I get there. I'm willing to make the drive during the week (when time is tight) for the former and much more hesitant to do so for the latter.

Well soon I'll have 2 Monk options. Anaheim & Torrance for pick up on the way home from lax.

If monkish could ship half cases, or 4-4 packs that would be sweet, or add some lagers to the online store....who is out there finishing 24 cans of DIPA before they get too old???

My wife and I typically split 2-3 cans a night after work (usually 3). 7 days, that's 14-21 right there, easy.

    I, uh, I finish a case by myself within a couple weeks…

Although I usually bring 3 or 4 mixed 4-packs whenever I hang out with my buddy so that helps too.

Wish Ciao Ciao Ciao would’ve been added to shipped cans today. Noticed Foggiest Window was almost sold out so I went ahead and placed my order instead of waiting to see if Ciao would pop up later.

Looks like it’s going back to pre pandemic lines… drove by and line wrapped around the building for todays release

Why in the world do people prefer lines to the newer system? I don't get it.

Guess it wasn’t all that bad… came back an hour later after lunch and no line

Don’t even remember the last time a can sold out same day. Obviously TDH Ghost is something special, and that lasted 2 days. Old days would’ve been 2 hours.

Justification for buying that new lawn chair with the built in canopy and beer cooler.

Speculation on when the Anaheim location will be fully operational? Been holding out for it but alas, my well's run dry.

Yes, I was in LA for a few days and waited until Sunday around 6 to pick up cans - and only 2 options. Oh well. It was not crowded and it was 5-7 minutes from 405 to Monk and back to 405.

Around ~2 weeks ago I recall that they posted they were hiring for Anaheim on IG. Based on that, I'd imagine in the next 1-2 months?
