10:02 was when my wife tried and it said sold out

I refreshed right around 2 min, 30 sec, and everything was gone.

 

Ah! Was hard to judge from posts above. I was really curious whether this would last 10 seconds, 30 seconds, or 2 minutes. I wasn't expecting longer than 2 minutes, but I was pretty curious.

 

I was 403xxx, FWIW I was able to go back in and at least add weekend 2 to my cart at :03... probably would not have been able to complete I'm sure

 

Even that one made me nervous.

Felt like less than a minute for being sold out and I had to create an account. Pretty excited. I got the last weekend so any of you want to meet up for a drink there lemme know. I'll probably pickup Sat the 27th

 

I completely forgot about it but tried as soon as I saw the IG notice pop up. Struck out, though had each of the times all the way through to hitting payment button. Fumbled through shop pay trying to ship, etc. Depending on which weekend you picked, I’d guess was at least a minute that was available.

 

Boom!!! Wife and I both scored.

BBT time the best time of the year.

I think Cory can skip the IG ads next time lol. Maybe the batch wasn’t as big as I was thinking. I know several people who missed out.

I’m pumped I got through.

 

I strongly suspect that the combination of the time being posted, coupled with the mere idea that this was a larger batch caused more people (far and wide, given proxies) to try than ever before. I've been locked out of so many releases over the years, if I think there is virtually no chance I'll get through, I won't try to some releases, simply because I don't want to lose a bunch of productivity immediately before, during, and following a release. For nothing. Then there is always the frustration of having not 'won'.

 

Managed to pull it off, then found out my friend did too. Both of our first BBT bottles. So stoked.

Had to pull over while on my way to the airport to make it work. Great start to the week!

 

This release was advertised like mad. Maybe it's just the algorithm has me figured out, but I feel like I saw more BBT ads than Budweiser ads the last month.

 

Just noticed there's no wax on the Tete bottle in the photo. Isn't that unusual?

 

There's a ton of value in advertising something to people that they have a fair but remote chance of buying. With IG's targeted advertising, he's probably paying pennies for thousands of dollars in hype.

I have casual craft beer drinkers in my group who come to me looking for run of the mill SP stuff, like it's mythical and unobtainable. If SP can bottle (heh) even a fraction of that aura and send it to target markets, those groups will go nuts trying to buy it, if only for the FOMO.

 

It’s foil now, not wax.

 

They are using fancy new low oxygen caps and said they opted for just that instead of the wax this year.
