Dark Lord Day (2021)

Listen, we only got three variants this year because of the lack of posts on this thread.

I propose that everyone pops a bottle of darklord the same day you get one, and write an extremely metal haiku review to post here.

 

I actually opened my DL the same day I picked it up last year. Might have to again this year, although I just popped a 2020 last night too.

 

I wish I would haven noticed this, I might have gotten a 2020 bag and a 2021 bag instead of 2x 2021 bags. I just assumed they would have all the variants available, and I was convinced I'd get another FVM if I got a 2020 bag.

 

So @miniditka77 sounds like you wanna trade your 2020 FVM for another variant? Let me know what you are looking for.

No sorry, I drank it. It was good. I have liked every DL variant I've ever tried (including Temeculan 3000 even), although I haven't tried a ton of them. I just would have liked another variant better, and I am sick of getting FVM specifically. It seems like I have gotten one in almost every bag lately.

 

One week to go. I haven’t seen this posted here, but I think it’s a bold move to host a full ensemble performance of the Broadway Musical Cats during pick up.

 

Full Ensemble Performance of the Broadway Musical Cats (FEPBMC) sounds long enough to be a DL variant name.

 

I would imagine it would have a musty cat piss aroma, lol.

For fun maybe they would age it in Muscat barrels.

 

DDDH’ing a beer sounds ‘Not Normal’.

I think being aged in an attic or hot garage would help add mustiness as well.

 

Ok, so what 2020 Variants are everyone hoping to pull next week?

For some reason I really want to try that Sword of Jovan. I didn't get that one last year. Here's hoping for this year. I'll also take Loadstar, that one I thought would hang around as the new best variant. It has always been delicious the 3 times I've tried it. They really did that one right.

 

Sacred Sword of Jovan is awesome if you pull it. At least I thought so before a total sacrifice of memory was given that night to the Dark Lord.

Last years BA Blot was really bad. Not sure what the deal was considering previous releases were great, but it was just not good.
