@LarryV what part of MA are you in? My wife and I, almost 30 years ago, honeymooned in Boston and Vermont in October. Absolutely spectacular up there this time of year.

Helloooooo Advocates! Thanks @tolar111 for today's sewing thread! Break time from winterizing and I'm only 50% done with perhaps the 2nd to last lawn chop this season. Feelin' groovy with Stone 25th Anniversary Triple IPA. Man alive is it good. Kinda juicy actually. Yesterday my financial advisor brought me a can of Surly he thought I might dig....right on brother!! Loving BA and sending positive vibes! Cheers. Keep on smiling!

Do any of you have access to KC Bier Co beers?

 

I live in Central Mass, about 6 miles south of Worcester. It is a beautiful time of year, although the trees are definitely past their peak now. Cheers!!

Oh yeah, we drove...past there a few years later on our way to Springfield, MA. My wife's uncle played on two Boston Celtics championship teams and was inducted into the National Basketball Hall of Fame. We were fortunate enough to be invited to the ceremony. Talk about feeling out of place. I'm 5'6' and most everyone else there was a whole lot taller than me!
I doubt I could live up there, I just don't like the cold but I love visiting. One of these days we're going back and I'm hitting Notch Brewing.

Having lived here all my life, I can tolerate the cold, it's the snow and ice I don't like. I've got some warm winter gear so I generally don't mind the cold. As long as my hands and feet are warm I'm okay. Notch makes some good beers, Chris Lohring has a long history of brewing good beer. There's a lot of great breweries around here - Tree House is pretty close by me but I've never been there, don't have enough interest in their beers to make the excursion and deal with the hassle of going there.

 

I’m breaking my weekly cleanse at Magnify Brewing. This murk bomb is Praline Party, an Imperial Stout brewed with cake batter, chocolate, hazlenut, and maple syrup, and aged in Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels. Hands down, it’s thickest, chewiest stout I’ve ever had and it’s delicious!
