Yeah, I've heard good things about Notch. Definitely my speed. Any solid lager brewery is my speed!

 

Have a good Friday. Another slow day hanging out with my cats. I got some training class signed up for next week, been waiting for 2 months; but there was apparently a miscommunication so I had to sign up for another similar class. Anyways I ate the second half of my brisket and rice for late lunch. I need to play some Resident Evil tonight. I need to also stop giving up on games after I reach a roadblock. ADHD at it's finest. Mix between games, music, and food.

Also from a reviewing standpoint I would like to try and get a few in a week at least, but I sure as hell am not doing 1600 a year like I was before. Rather just enjoy a beer or two and lax on the (digital) paperwork. I was also writing out 2-3000 characters (and hence wasting a lot of time) for something that needed 800. I am pretty content with that level of information. Plus more time to enjoy the beer. When Julia moves I'll definitely be going out more too.


Still tasting awesome. I might get more in Ohio over thanksgiving. The store at the corner near my dad always has some.

AOTY, most likely. People say some stuff reminds of Butchers Ballroom but I am more of a Pandoras Pinata aficionado. Definitely better than the first album on the first spin, but the last one grew on me a lot over time. Still a lot to listen. Bass mix is the best I've heard, but people say it sounds washed out or some shit lol.

I’ve spent the afternoon at the pub…had so much fun catching up with my friends that I posted no pics…walking home, at Green Bench Brewing drinking one of my fav locals - Sunshine City IPA, DDH WC style IPA:



In between downpours I plan on walking down to Cycle Brewing and tasting the new BBA releases, for recon purposes, natch!

 

BJ’s is now serving their annual release of their Gran Cru. It’s consistent this year. It’s pretty sweet for a Hophead.
