La Chouffe Blonde, from an iconic Belgian brewery. More than twist in my sobriety.

Hoppy Sunday to all, yesterday was quite chilly so I stayed indoor and did another drawing. I’ll be my own critic. The eyes and mouth are okay, whereas I should have polished a bit the nose and hair.

Came across this very nice video and tune from POLO & PAN yesterday. Very elegant IMO:

[IMG] This hot tub came with the house, one of my best buddies who lives across the street is going to help me empty it today and get it ready for us. This is some tasty sauce here. Cheers all and don’t waist that extra hour today. Roll out some pages BAs.

@SawDog505 « Day light Saving » is BS indeed but we have to deal with it here too. Last week actually.

The European Union was supposed to end it last year or so, but since the EU and Brussels couldn’t even run a piss up at Cantillons Brewery we’re stuck with it for some more years.

    Cheers.

Drinking Founders KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa. This is a stout that I probably would
not have bought had it not been for the comments around here saying that it's not as
sweet as the name would imply. I bought two 4 packs and have been enjoying it

Got some frost on the sage this morning.

This is an excellent beer. Saved the second half of this bomber for later today, where I'll catch you next.

Featuring two ladies from the set yesterday.

August Schell released their newest Snowstorm (which @gatornation has no doubt already entered into the db), and it starts off my boozy day:

I may cross-post a review to NBW eventually, but am busy polishing and my palate ain’t quite ready jist yet:

As it is, it’s a nice looking (and tasting) oat-powered lager, and Schell never disappoints with their Snowstorms. Cheers!

Frost on the sage, sounds like it alludes to something else...

Panther Cub was my last and new to me from Founders a number of months ago already. I was absolutely wowed. Impressive. CBS is World-Class too but this is in some other league.

You got that on your Belgian shelves?

Local shop had it but this bottle I got from hopt.be. I think its called saveur biere in France? Its the INBEV webshop. Sometimes they have very good prices on Founders beers. All their other stuff is really overpriced imo.

Yes, saveur bière based in Lille/Rijsel has it. Their prices are very much fair for anything founders but I've made the same observation about anything else.

and followed with a Sip of Sunshine -
and that tuna was some of the best I've ever had !

Good morning BAs! Starting with a long time want - Proprietor’s BCBS (2016):

Bottled 9/15/16. Poured at 57°. In a word, spicy! Black with murky brown edges; fleeting fizzy dark tan head; no cap retention, no ring, no lace; medium thick legs. Nose is peppers, bourbon, smokey tobacco; chocolate as beer warms. Entry is chocolate, bourbon, hot green chilies sauce; sweetnesses from the maple, but no maple taste detected; bittersweet cocoa nibs on backend. Hot peppers tingle on tongue; light carbonation; full minus body; mouth warmth from 13.1% abv and Chipotle peppers. Overall, Excellent!; lasting hot peppers linger; the maple has faded (fine by me) and the bourbon is mild; spicy!; a BBA Mexican Cake minus the cinnamon; at 5 years old, this beer has held up well - I like!
