Chicagoland Lagers (2021)

2? What beers do they rotate on 2?

 

They just got them in. Festbier and pilsner are on them now. They will be putting more on rotation next week apparently

 

I thought maybe they were brewing a few Czech styles, but the Festbier could be good poured that way. Though I think I might not like it in the milk-pour.

 

The beer still needs to be good. Lukr faucets don’t make bad lager good lager

 

Here is to hoping they make more Czech style lagers!

 

Well, if it's the milk-pour it's pretty much all mouth feel anyway.

Going to be in Highland Park on Tuesday and am planning a stop at Binny's to grab a stack of Goldfinger cans (which they supposedly carry there). Any other good pilsner brews or brewers I should watch out for? Does Art History distribute to stores because it sounds like maybe I should have them on my shopping list?

Anyone land the pretty Goldfinger bottle?

 

I was happy to get the new batch of Vienna Lager at The Open Bottle. If my wife saw that big bottle you would be able to hear her eyes roll statewide...

Shows AH at Binny's Gurnee, but doesn't guarantee which labels.

Last time I was in that Binny's I think I saw 2 AH labels and neither were any of their lagers. Hard pass.

 

I saw that Binny's pop up on their beer finder along with Beermiscuous in Highwood which was also recommended to me. Anyone here been to that place?

 

I finally got to try some Goldfinger Pilsner after picking up at Riverlands this past weekend. Boy do I wish they'd make it up to the north/northwest suburbs.
