    look: 4 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

    Midnight black body; opaque; thick, frothy, light tan head. Outstanding smell; roasted malts with cocoa and baker's chocolate; grain char. The taste follows along the lines of the smell; rich, sweet dark malt notes; moderate bitterness. Heavy body with a slick smoothness on the palate; nice residual sugar feel; sweet mouthfeel overall yet finishes with a slightly sharp dryness.

    Outer Range Brewing Co. has come up with a nice, straightforward stout (perhaps imperial based on the ABV of 7.5 %). No adjuncts are listed.

    ...our garage conversion is still on schedule (demolition starts next week - completion date around late February), and with our washer and dryer in storage, today was a trip to the laundromat (my first time in decades)...man, those places eat up quarters...:stuck_out_tongue:
