NCAA Bowl Pick ‘Em 2021-2022

Pretty simple layout using confidence points. There are 44 Bowl games this year. You may only use each point value once, put more points on the teams you have more confidence in. There is no point spread, this will be straight up but most games are evenly matched and bowls are always full of surprises. You think your conference is that much better? Back it up.

One more note, the National Championship game is included. Obviously we won't know who is in it until after after the four team playoff so keep that in mind when making your picks.

*must have a minimum of 5 trades with 100% feedback
*losers will send minimum of 2 bombers or equivalent of 44 oz of 90+ rated beer not available in targets distro; extras not mandatory but always appreciated and usually included
*if you fail to send, I'll call you out as a bad trader and let everyone know you're a scum bag
*trash talking encouraged
*the tie breaker is the predicted score of the Championship Game...use it, it may come down to that
*please use your BA name when you sign up on ESPN
*payouts will be determined by total number of entries. Ideally I would like the top 3 to win but we would need a total of 13 (5 to first, 3 to 2nd, 2 to third...winners don't ship)

DEADLINE FOR SIGNUPS IS December 16th.
*First game is December 17th

In case you guys haven’t figured it out, you have to make all your picks before you are able to save your picks but you can change them afterwards.

For example, I will only make picks for this weekend but in order to save them I have to highlight/make picks for every game. Once they are saved, I can go back and change the point allotment for the upcoming games and it will autosave after every change.

In other words, at least select the point value for the games on the 17th and 18th and then you can just click on all the remaining teams, whether you think they’ll win or not and no matter what the point value is so you can save it. Then go back and switch the games before they are played (unless you’re one of the crazy ones who picks all the games right off the bat and then you have nothing to worry about.

I don’t know what the fuck is going on now, it saves all my picks, auto saves my changes and then when I hit refresh a few minutes later it shows none of my picks saved and everything goes back to the same initial screen.

Someone let me know if they figure it out. Piece of fucking shit!

Alright fellas (don’t believe there’s any ladies other than John). I’m going out on a limb and doing something I’ve never done before. @DStoked reached out to me because he has a FB group that is doing the confidence pool as well but they’re not on BA and I’m not on FB nor will I ever be.

Dave has vouched for all of them (~7-10) and he’s sending me their contact info. So you will see some unfamiliar names but I’m putting my good faith in Dave and the name of craft beer that we won’t have any issues. Most people aren’t scum bags but we have them here on BA as well, rest assured I will “inquiry” all unsent boxes no matter who they’re affiliated with.

This will increase the payouts and competition significantly which I’ll update within a few days after tomorrow when the games start. Better bring your A game, this is old skool!

Now if I can just figure out how the fuck to make my picks and save them.

 

Now this?! I can barely send emails but this shouldn’t be so complicated, if Idon’t get this shit figured out by this afternoon then count me out and I’ll just host which I’m perfectly fine with. Now I can’t even make my god damn fucking pick without “an entrys pick confidence score must be unique to a scoring period”. Whatever the fuck that means.

 

Anyone else having issues? I tried again this morning to assign points to my BYU/UAB game and I keep getting the same message as I posted in the screen shot above.
