Final 2 cans from Ye Oulde Stube of Brickway Jalapeno Pineapple Pilsner. Slow subtle pepper heat from this is excellent after a light lunch. Cheers!

Any of you have a rye pilsner before? I've had some rye amber beers (Creature Comfort Reclaimed Rye) but not a pilsner type. This was actually pretty good. It has a firm spicy, grainy flavor. Dry start to finish. Low, but noticeable bitterness. The rye seems to beef up the mouth feel a bit. Finish is dry and snappy. Seems like this would go over quite well in the summer. Nice job by the brewer.

Starting today earlier than I have been, it's much needed today. Damn iv been sleeping on Bells Two Hearted. I'll have to grab a fresh pack next beer haul. As for this Space Dust it's just mediocre ime. There's this off soapy taste that stands out. Some days I notice it more. It reminds me of getting my mouth washed out with soap when I cursed as a kid lol. Cheers!

 

I like the Space Dust. Try it in a regular pint glass and pour it so there's no head. It's really smooth on tap if ya can find it at a local watering hole. But yeah, Bell's Two Hearted is a home run every time! Cheers!!
