Is there anywhere I can find a list of how the latest uptick in Omicron is affecting whether or not taprooms are open in the Twin Cites? I'm headed there soon and hope to visit a few since I couldn't last winter.
Not a list but Fair State Coop require a vax card or negative test to get into the taproom https://www.instagram.com/p/CXTqOQWsbON/?utm_medium=copy_link
I really haven't heard of any places closing. Fair State does have heated outdoor space available if you don't want indoor service. They're the only place I know of that requires proof of vaccination or a negative test. If there are others, someone else might have to help out with that. I would have a mask with just in case a taproom requires it, you never know. Obviously that's entirely up to you of course. Edit: damn near every place I've been to for quite sometime seems to have normal hours, and no COVID issues so you should be fine on pretty much anyplace you want to go.
I wouldn't expect to see any closings in the coming weeks. We just hit our peak with delta and there was still virtually no closings, lockdowns etc.
How exactly do tax revenues get generated and collected when businesses are closed and/or restricted in capacity?
Cut him some slack, Gator. You almost certainly have fathered a child who is his age, you geezer. Play nice, guys. Or you’ll scare the out-of-Towners. And Lord knows that our local establishments can use their taxable, visitor’s dollars amid the perpetual lockdown.
