SWEEEEET!!!

 

I'll be over for the game tomorrow night!

 

My box was scheduled to land today or tomorrow, but that won't be happening Basically, an overzealous FedEx employee heard liquid sloshing around in my targets box (along with another box for the Sour, Saison, and Funk BIF) opened them both up and discovered the beers. I got a call yesterday saying they were unable to ship due to alcohol contents. Luckily there were no issues for me picking them up. Only problem is that I won't be able to ship out until Tuesday morning since I left for vacation today. Hope my target doesn't mind.

 

Box 1 of 2 landed from the axeman today. All i can say is I cant believe there is another box as this 1st box is oustanding on its own!

Here is the haul: (will post pics when the complete haul is here, and when mnbearsfan is over to show me how)

4 bottles of Brooklyn BCS, vertical going back to 09-10. Are you kidding, outstanding!

Maine- lunch- perma want and will be a want again after i drink it tonight!

CCB- Imperial Sweet Stout, wow major want!!

Bruery- White Chocolate, speechless, another major want!

Mother Earth- Silent Night, huge thank you for this one, just in time for xmas eve!!

Firestone- sucuba, again, major want!

Cricket Hill- Reserve Barleywine, new to me, cant wait to try!

Sixpoint- brownstone, again, new to me, cant wait to try it, have loved their other stuff!

No problem dude, glad box #1 made it OK. Unfortunately there was a bottle break in box #2, but I spoke to someone at UPS and he said they would forward the rest of the box along, so hopefully you should get part two tomorrow.

I liked having a month or two to pull the box together. This BIF worked out great!!

Weyerbacher- Whiskey Barrel Aged, cant wait to try

CCB- White oak aged ipa, love this stuff!

Terrapin- Oak aged big hoppy monster, cant wait to try, love the regular!

NJ Beer Co.- garden state stout, not familiar, sounds awesome!

Axeman, you seriously killed it. Thanks a ton for the great boxes!

 

Glad box #2 mostly made it OK. It looks like one of the Smoking Wood bottles (I sent both bourbon and rye whiskey, figured it could be a fun horizontal) was the one that broke yesterday, sorry about that. Hope you enjoy the brews!

 

All things considered, a lucky turn of events. I'm sure your target will be understanding.

 

Still a couple more boxes out there (I haven't forgotten you beer-less comrades!)?
