Interesting you say that, what I was thinking is the opposite. A lot of fun beers come in 330ml cans, while here we're more used to pints (440ml) or what you seem to call "tallboys" (500ml).

When I drink those 330ml beers I always feel like I'm just getting into it when it's empty. :grinning:

However you're right, it's a good way to limit your intake.

I drink 3-4 beers a day, on average. But I try to spread that out over 5-6 hours. I can't remember the last time I was drunk or drinking effected my work. As a matter of fact, I tend to close a lot of deals over a beer. That being said, I've always viewed myself as more of a cautionary tale than a role model.

A couple of days a week, I'll have a couple of beers with dinner.

Leave your girlfriend, quit yer job and all your woes go away

    Guilt free!!

I stopped smoking weed going on 3 years ago( jan 7th is my 3rd year) and much more prefer a drink than that weed bullshit especially now that it's socially acceptable to be a weed burnout.

That being said, you gotta check yourself. Beer will turn you into a fat wierd beer know it all who cant run a mile ir defend himself without a gun. You wanna be that loser? Nope.

Cut down on the beer cuz it's shit for your body in excess,Join a gym, lose weight, go outside and enjoy it then.

If you haven’t already, try some tincture if you want to go that route. I love the control you get with it, it is very nice. Find the right amount, make a cup of tea, makes for a very peaceful night without beer.

I know this just replaces one thing with another but if you’re really trying to cut back it may help.

Depends how many of my friends are with me. Such a bad influence.....

Seriously though, it's probably more than I like to think it is.

Wait, am I not supposed to drink beer outside? Fuck me. I mean, I'm pretty sure I can defend myself with or without a gun, but if that becomes an issue, can't I just keep drinking and hire someone to do it for me? Too much to thin k about, I think I need a drink.

I rarely drink more than one beer in a day, unless I’m going to a share where I’ll have small pours from a number of bottles. On average, I probably have a beer four or five days a week.

I just want to note, and celebrate, how distinct that is from "that doesn't always work out "

Alright Cardinal Anslinger, we won't have any fun anymore. Ya know, there used to be a time in this great country of ours when it was perfectly acceptable to be a drunk stoner, or a stoned drunk, and maybe thats the kind of acceptance we need to get back to.
a gallon is always an option folks. Dont let these European interlopers, with their oh so sciency liters get you bamboozled. A gallon of beer is always an option

I only said it in that harsh way cuz it seems like OP has reached a point where it's becoming a problem and it probably isn't too fun anymore. If he were having fun why start this thread? Even he himself said beers becoming a problem for his weight and we both know 3+ pints a day is wayy too much . Ultimately He can do whatever he wanys but there's an ounce of truth in what i said.

I was just referring to your poo pooing of the beautiful flower. Everyone could always use a little less beer, if peak physical health is their goal. Look up Harry anslinger if you didn't catch my reference

Haha, yeah, yours is poor grammar

OTOH, def. agree that gallon always is an option. I neither regret nor remember the times I chose that option.

It got to a point in my life where it stopped "curing" whatever i thought it was helping.
It was also making my anxiety and depression worse so i did gladly poop on it.
3 Years without it and haven't looked back .
I did start way young though. I was 12 or 13 and went non stop until 29 years old.
It's also worth pointing out that at least half my close friends have asked me for advice on how to stop. I can't help them though cuz i don't have a secret.
But yea man, it was bad for me and i know it's all individual cases.

    Stayhigh420bonghit brother. Cheers

Then it was definitely a good thing to stop the practice. Breaking out of patterns that were once helpful and are now hurtful is one of the hardest things to do and one of the most impactful. Glad you got out of a negative cycle, sorry to hear you're still a little touchy about it.
