La Trappe & BrewDog: Practice What You Preach

Wait, do we hate Brewdog this month or not? It gets confusing on here.

 

I can do without patronizing comments like "making the World a better place."

 

Does the month have a vowel in it? Then yes.

Yes

 

I wonder which brewery instigated this?

 

No. Founders is January. Brewdog isn’t until next month. And then we’re right back to Goose Island.

Oh that’s right, I forgot Larry sold. I can probably work in some hate for them in the spring if it works for you.

 

It wasn’t clear to me how they intend to leave the world a better place. From the La Trappe website. Buried on the page describing the beer.

I have one of those at home. Not tried it yet.
I expect this beer to be rather sweet in taste; La Trappe Quadruppel (sort of) with honey added. Hope to try it next week.

 

I guess every little bit helps, but 5,000 people spread throughout “developing countries”?
