Agreed! I've been eager to try Radiant out after all the praise heaped on them here and in the WCIPA thread but I don't run into their cans very often. The one time (in recent memory) I did, they weren't dated and I passed them up.

Don't forget you can always order direct from Radiant as they are still doing direct to your home shipping. I've ordered from them a few times, and while their cans weren't dated I have no doubt that the beer I drank was perfectly good and not outdated.

If RiiP can date their cans then I don’t see why Radiant shouldn’t. I mean I still buy Radient cans if I see them at Windsor and know they are new. Or I can go to the source. But it makes it a whole lot easier to put some numbers on the side or bottom of the cans man.

We will begin putting a "canned on week of" statement on the labels themselves in the next few weeks. Still not ready to plunk the money down on a date coder & required conveyance just yet.

@dcgunman Riip and many other small breweries have date codes because they use mobile canners, who have invested in that equipment.

Thank you all for supporting us in our (extremely unusual) initial year! We'll continue to work hard to improve our operations and beer, and welcome feedback from the community. I wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year celebration and fingers crossed for a simpler 2022.

Thanks Jonas. This will be great for those of us who like to send to fellow beer geeks across the country. My local, Hacienda Beverage in Brea, is great about knowing what is new from you guys, but this is just more transparent. I'm hoping the method you've chosen is pretty easy. I know that the investment in the can stamping would be odious and I definitely did not want to request something from you folks that requires more capital. Thanks.

Is there a way to have your art department have a more distinguished can art? It's always a hard time to put a name and a vaguely similar art can with another.
