    Dark brown body, looks black in some light; thick, dense light khaki head, lasting, thin, creamy sheets of foam coat the inside of the glass. Faint smell; dark roasted malt. Rich, bitter flavor; light sweetness; cocoa; coffee; bold hop bitterness. Heavy mouthfeel; silky.

    This is a fine, malt-centric winter warmer with a bold hop character.

    Served on tap at the brewery.

    Either a '17 or '18 Streetside Brewery Demogorgon. Can't remember what year I picked this up at the brewery and it's not on the label.

    Conditions on the ski slope were sub-par today due to lack of winter. Me and the nephew still had a blast with the 6 trails that were open and that my fellow advocates is the most important part!

    A clean slightly bready Czech Pilsner from Lasting Brass, a house favorite. Wishing everyone here at the virtual bar a Happy NYE and hope the holiday season finds you all well! Kenadz!

    Good afternoon BA's, glad to be hanging out with y'all. Another unseasonably warm day in Western NC with the temp at 67.
    Today's choice to start is from the Costco Advent pack, a nice Helles that is a good representation of the style. I like the peppery finish to give the flavor some zip.

    Listening to SiriusXM's "Rock Bar" station and came across a Kid Rock song. Took me awhile to appreciate his crossover style, definitely some fun music.

    Beautifully clear, dark amber body; rich, creamy white head; patchy sheets and legs of foam inside the glass. Excellent spicy aroma; citrus; lemongrass. A touch of citrus flavor; light phenol presence; light mint; peppery; dried grass; bitter. Medium-heavy body; mildly abrasive on the palate; juicy yet with a dry undertone.

    A somewhat unique tasting and feeling saison, flavorful with a nice hop character.

    ...with a little taste of OCC's Zooted - a double hazy IPA with Strata hops - off to the side...
