The Twin Elephant thread was not very active last year but I decided to start a 2022 thread anyway. I hope it's more active this year.

I'll chime in and repeat something i said last year. Looking for more non-ipas in 4 packs. Thank you TE for putting your current porter in 4 packs, and lets keep that trend going. currently on their webpage in crowlers are milds, belgian ales, cream ales, etc. Would love to see that in 4 packs. But i understand TE is a business, if the porter sits on their shelves and the next ipas flies out the building you have to can what people buy. Happy new year all.

I know they have purchased their own canning equipment and were waiting on it (not sure current status), but I think that would let them can smaller runs of a broader array of their offerings, so hopefully exactly what you are looking for.

Glad to see this thread back! I kinda stopped checking the regional forums so much after they merged everything TBH.

Rugged Snuggles is awesome in the cans, i've been very much enjoying it the past few weeks. I've bought a few crowlers of With My Hellions as well that have been nice...love the lower ABV crowlers.

I've noticed a lot of Strata beers coming out recently as well.

@cid71 I will buy all the Rugged Snuggles don't worry haha. I'd kill for them to start canning the original Set the Vector.

I was there last week no sign of a canning line.

Let's keep this thread going

Saw there are some new drops: Roast This Bone DIPA & Old Raritan.

Haven't had Roast This Bone, but it seems they're still using up their Motueka & Strata stocks, haha!

I see they added a bunch of stuff to this version of Old Raritan. Too much and too spicy for me I think.

I was speaking with the beer manager at Liquor Outlet Wine Cellar yesterday and he mentioned that TE told him they hoped to be able to sell kegs commercially in the future, which would be awesome. I'd love some kegs of TE at home

Drank my last Rugged Snuggle yesterday. They did a fantastic job on this one. cheers!

About 4 years ago I asked Cindy about buying a sixtel. She said they would love to but could not even keep up with the demand in the tap room at that point. You should ask about buying one at the brewery the next time you are there .

This version of Old Raritan is just great. The peppers are hot and the barrel-aged coffee beans really enhance the original. It's 11.4% vs. the original 7.4%.

Didn't see any of the TIPA today, but grabbed some Swarm and Lil Shimmy Ye.

The Swarm is tasting good as ever. Very consistent with this one, and the honey is real nice.

I picked up a pack of Swarm last night. I'm almost sure I've had it before but it looks like I've never reviewed it so I'll do so on NBS tomorrow. Looking forward to it!

I heard it sold out almost immediately. I'm not used to that kind of pressure any more. LOL.

That’s funny. I was going to order some on Friday for my wife to bring home on her way from work and then saw it was sold out. Very rare for a TE beer to sell out that quickly. Don’t let anyone tell you craft beer drinkers (not all) don’t chase that big ABV!
