I'd love to have two for whenever, but also am fine with not having another two beers in the cellar. I still have so much stuff to try on hand, plus everything Tavour will be sending me shortly.... By not buying two of those bottles, I got money for another Anchorage bottle too (lol).
Bastards MOAS'd me too. Fortunately I was picking up children and driving around and figured I could dwell on it for 20 minutes and decide if I really wanted it when I got home. Savages bought it out immediately. Had the same experience as others. Even was asking me if I wanted to be wait listed and wouldn't let me do that either. Kinda happy about it TBH as I spend entirely way too much on fancy alcohol.
I have a crate on its way to me and I planned on just ignoring the app for a while. They dropped MOAS, I mentioned to my wife that that's one I've been kind of waiting on thinking she'd have something to say about watching spending or some shit... She says, "I guess you better start another crate".. Who am I to disagree?
You married well sir. My wife used give a mostly good natured hard time. Then I got her hooked on barrel aged sours...not so small price to pay for continuing my BA Barleywine habit guilt free.
Top 250 beer just showed up: Jester King's Atrial Rubicite (Blend 11). Very tempted, but shy at $42 a bottle.
jester King is sending a drop to Chicago and it looks like its going to be $35 here. If that helps put pricing in perspective.
That is very helpful, and more in line with what I recall from my Jester King visit. $42 seemed like a big up charge. Top 250 tick is tempting, and I guess I've spent more for less, but idk on this one. Thank you.
I missed it. Had no intentions of opening another crate anytime soon but MOAS would have been more than enough for me to to do so
When i lived in WA i ordered from Tavour frequently and had no issues, they are based in Seattle. Now i live in KS and can't get shipments, it's sad. The only problem with Tavour is that their desire to support their customers and expand their business is sub par.
I'm finding more beers locally that we're only available on tavour lately. Looks like Drekker and Anchorage have made their way to my local shelves. Dekker is a better buy locally. Anchorage BA beers are going for more than I would pay via Tavour. $70 for Wendigo. No thanks.
The only Anchorage I've seen in PA is Wendigo, $75. They must have made a ton. I guess the lesson for them is rebranding. Give everything a new name every time. Wendigo and triple barrel aDwtD linger, Open Up more and Jag God(totally different beer!) sell out in hours.
Same here - I know we've been getting drops of Drekker and Anchorage, even Weldwerks is on shelves here pretty regularly now. So that draw factor to use Tavour isn't as strong.
The recent drop was limit of six. Initial drop a few weeks ago was two, and a smaller market (based on comments in this thread, and my own experience). I was damn tempted to buy six.... @Beersnake1
I have generally been very impressed by the shipping. My crate shipped yesterday and it’s currently out for delivery.
