Had some cans of that shipped to me yesterday. It's a real nice one, but I think I actually like another pils of theirs better that also came in the order called Light and Royalty. Both are winners, along with their Gold Medal winning Pale Ale called Second That Emotion. Radiant is knocking it out of the park.

They also brew so many beers that I can’t keep up.

Agreed! I really hope this sees cyclical releases, I'd easily grab a couple 4pks quarterly.

Thanks for the heads up in the Urban Roots’ thread. I missed it the last couple of times around. Always good to have nearby shops around that carry Urban Roots.

FYI, in order to get images to show on this board, you have to link the actual URL of the image (.jpg or whatever - in your case https://i.imgur.com/TDZX7Bx.jpeg for the first one), and not the post URL wrapper

It trips me out that Radiant makes world class beers in different styles, but that they make really bad or average beers in those same styles too. Tiny Treats Lager is about as good as a generic European lager. Sticky, overtly sweet, fruity mess.

I’m enjoying a Live Oak Pre War Pils right now. Is anyone making beers like this that are widely distro’d around NorCal?

Turn me on to something new!

@elNopalero Alvarado St has “Monterey Beer” which they say is from a 1934 Salinas/Monterey recipe.

Man, I would love to try some of the beers they were brewing out of that area just post prohibition.

Old Combine from Moonlight is a unique and interesting lager. I don't know that it's something I'll be rushing or to get again, but it's unique enough that I wouldn't be surprised if it was just what someone's been looking for

I quite liked Old Combine. The mixed maltbill does make it more unique

I just did a hoppy lager side-by-side with Party Cup (Mosaic, canned 12/7/21) and High Tider (Mosaic + Nelson, canned 1/11/22) from Wondrous Brewing. Party Cup is absolutely fantastic, but having it next to High Tider, it comes up a little bit short. Both are phenomenal lagers, but High Tider took my breath away! :open_mouth: Wondrous hasn't been discussed too much in this forum, but if you are in the area or see a can grab it and give them a try. They are making themselves known in the crispyboi game!

To be fair, this batch of Party Cup is about a month older than HT...and HT is extremely fresh. This could account for the absolute superior "pop" in the aromatics. And, I am an admitted Nelson fanboy, so that Nelson Dank plus Mosaic dank combo had me muttering to myself. LOL! Impressive stuff!

    ISO: Wondrous High Tider

I've got cans of the same batch of Party Cup in the fridge, so you know for science and all. Do their cans make it out of the Bay Area?
