Enjoying your new choices of backdrops. The beers look great too. It is -10C here this morning so I'm not ready for a beer yet but I'll join the party as soon as I'm done unfreezing...

 

Just caught up with yesterday’s thread and wanted to wish @DoctorZombies ’s wife and @RaulMondesi a happy belated birthday!

Full treatment linked here. Long story short, disappointing watered down milk chocolate the predominant feature. Will finish it.

Plotting revenge on behalf of my nephews against their father for the upcoming Vegas trip.

During my first trip to Sweden back in '97 or '98 I remember drinking a beer or two and I think that at least one of them was this one. Was it around back then?

 

Good morning BAs! The wife and I stayed up past 2am binge watching TV which she likes to do…slow start for me…dogs walked, fed…coffee me - Copper Kettle’s “Snowed In - Coconut”:



Bottled 2021. Tavour purchase. Poured at 59°. Pleasant enough for a 12.5% BBA oatmeal stout, but like many “coconut” stouts sadly lacking in very much coconut. I’ve recorded a full written review in my log book…not sure I’ll bother writing this beer up here…it would score a low 4…

It was 51° out and sunny when I walked the dogs earlier, beautiful weather. Mrs. Z wanted to go to the downtown farmer’s market, but I doubt she will arise before noon…Cheers brethren of the Now and Cheers!

 

Wow! @JamFuel you've got the pedal to the metal this morning! Good job! I'm still finishing cup 2 of jet fuel coffee. Then it's a 10K run and I'll sit at the bar here/cross post with some new to me brews. Plans & maps. Salute!

 

I probably would have enjoyed this more without the coffee and vanilla. I hate it when they "ad junk" to beer, especially stouts.

It’s 2 feet taller than me…Now is our time for “spring” gardening…

Good morning BA's! We had a cold night (for here) with a low of 36. Just back from getting an oil change and "the works" on the 2015 GT. As lunch prep begins I'm enjoying a Drekker Involuntary Narcissistic Rage lactose DIPA. It has a great taste but either the lactose or my lingering sinus infection kinda gives it a taste/texture imbalance.

 

I still have some kitchen clean up from last night “to do” for Mrs. Z birthday…and now some prep for this afternoon’s brunch with Jr. Z. - another coffee stout:



Honestly, if you want a bitter roast coffee stout in your breakfast mug, FBS delivers like no other (although I do miss my Péché Mortel”)…Cheers!

Jr. Z just got promoted to supervisor at his job; an issue requires his working today. When he has finished he’ll join us for snacks and we will bake pumpkin scones and we will build a puzzle together as a family! Yes, we are that nerdy…Meantime, Cheers y’all!
