Just now reading it on their site. Looking forward to a brand new ipa at the perfect 7.1 in a can.
Also looking forward to their new location in HB. Fingers crossed this will happen this year.

Not sure about a new location in HB, but I did read something saying they're hoping to receive approval from the City of Long Beach for a small satellite taproom at 2nd and PCH.

Sounds like they'll need to do a re-brew of Invasive Species

Word is out that they are suppose to open a restaurant at the corner of Bolsa Chica and Warner in HB. I've heard from a couple of sources on this one. Same with Green Cheek opening up their third location along PCH in Sunset Beach, the old Harry's Grill location.

Had the Hoptangle out of the can yesterday and first taste was meh. Not much hop flavor for my taste buds. Not much bitterness to it also. Maybe like GC's westy Nelson can it needs some time to swell up?

Looking forward to HoF cans but I dont think I can handle 4 cans these days. I'll probably end up donating 2 of the 4 cans to someone.

These dayz I have a tipa once a month if that. So the cans would get old sitting in the fridge. I'd rather give some out to friends to enjoy

Anyone have experience ordering Beachwood cans online for shipping? Specifically, how fresh do the cans tend to be? It's easy to find Citraholic and Amalgamator in San Diego, but the cans are almost always at least 2-3 months old, even when a place restocks. I'd pay the extra cost of shipping (and buying extra cans) if there was an assurance the cans would be fresh.

Wonder what that would mean for Beachwood's current HB spot. Keep it open as is? As a production-only facility?

Where did you hear this rumor about Green Cheek opening up in Sunset Beach? I was kind of hoping for a Los Angeles County location.

Is it just me or the Blendery just doesn’t get talked about enough? They’ve done well with their spontaneous beer program and continually putting up good to great sour ales and spontaneous beers time and time again. On the other hand, I’m glad that I’m able to grab one or two of each of their releases and come back for another round when the mood strikes.

The Blendery is pretty much my main source for sour beer these days. The dry, funky profile of their unfruited sours is my favorite

I actually preferred hanging out at The Blendery because it was smaller and less crazy... Really hoping to get back there

I've said the same about Beachwoods Barrel Program

Buffalo 8 , Barrelogenesis and Sadie are among the best . Have yet to try Blendery stuff but eventually i may

I prefer the way things are now, for people to just obsess over HillFarmstead and Cantillon and look passed the Blendery.

Better to just delete this thread.
