Cory said that wouldn’t be an every year thing. at least to start. they had just filled more rye barrels when RyeBT 1 was released so possibly this year, but no guarantees.

 

however, i welcome a new blend if for no other reason than not having to continue seeing people give up 2 regular BBTs to one Rye, because it’s not worth that.

 

I'd love to see more blend as well. Has an Apply Brandy BBT been done?

No, but an AB Derivation has. It’s the lowest rated Derivation on Untappd by 0.26 points. Based on word of mouth, it’s 4.31 rating it’s gross hypeboi inflation.

I'm all set for visiting the brewery and cellar next week. There's several on-site bottles I would like to try but was wondering how likely it is to find others willing to split those with me. I'm sure it depends on the day and what others have planned but rather not have to solo dome a bunch of bottles unless that's the only option. If that's the case I'll have to rely on my extensive liver training and a couple of well timed hearty meals to get me through the weekend.

 

definitely depends on the day and how busy it is, but in the before times it was never hard to find a willing participant or two to split bottles with.

 

Has anyone talked about how MJK is worth the price yet?

 

that term (about x beer being worth x price point) has never been discussed in this forum… just doesn’t come up

Lets do this, been wanting to review something with you guys. Spent the day with this guy pretty much.

nose is deep barrel and cinnamon and slight chocolate.

flavor is huge! Starts with the big body, chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla, then real nice barrel.

mouthfeel is surprisingly huge, with so much time in the barrel i expected this guy to be thinner, blending it up to a big massive stout

overall this guy is banging, if you like cinnamon youd love this guy. Lots of cinnamon, on every level.

Excellent beer, glad to work thru a bottle for a niner victory, woohoo!
