That was my experience in recent years and the beer changed within the same pack (cans).

Or maybe the folks at Troegs are magicians playing a shell game?

Instead of finding the pea it's can you find the aroma?

    Cheers!

Yes. That's why I was waiting. Then I asked at the store and was told they are on "shutdown ' this week and not sending beers

So what now we wait till next week I guess. Hunterdon just isn’t sending out beer this week? That’s bizarre

I am going to disagree with y’all. It is consistent. It’s just our tastebuds that change. I bought two cases of Nugget Nectar and some days I loved it, some days I didn’t and I realized it was more about what I was eating or drinking before…

probably gonna buy a case of this when it comes out again and be proved once again as I always do, that it depends on my tastebuds.

Hard pass here. Grab me some 19.2 cans of Double Broken Heels for a couple bucks each.

New Trail is usually a no-go for me on anything hoppy - they don't date their cans.

I understand this point of view, but for most of their beers you can check social media. So not a big deal.

For how many NN cans were a swing and a miss in my latest 12 pack, I’d take my chances with New Trail.

How does that work? Or am I misunderstanding your answer to @jmdrpi?

Even assuming that is something easy to do while standing in the beer store looking at the brands on the shelves (which I don't think it is) - it looks like they first posted about releasing Double Broken Heels in September. So I should assume any cans are 4-5 months old? That's not an endorsement.

And a beer like regular Broken Heels has been around for years, so that doesn't help at all.

Their regular lineup beers you can’t, I agree. Thankfully, I know when the last pack of 19.2 cans were packaged because I saw the pack.

Agree on their regular lineup. I did say Double Broken Heels, but I also know when they were packaged since I saw the pack.

For NT’s releases, I can check social media. Not a big deal.

I used to work at Tröegs and am a huge fan of their stuff, but 9/10 times I’d get New Trail first.

They said in their IG they’ll be starting to date stamp cans soon.
