I know those guys are always hunting for good crops of galaxy. They aren’t easy to find these days

Looks like motueka. Maybe a different recipe as it’s a lower abv (6.5%) than mosaic and Nelson.

They mentioned using pilsner malt in Meet The Motuekas. I feel like that's different from the usual malt bill in their 7.5% DIPA's.

Pretty surprised to see Hop Butcher cans at a liquor store in Thousand Palms, CA (Palm Springs area).

Thematic Glow, Urbs In Horto & regular Blazed Orange. Didn't check the dates but I'm guessing not so fresh.

If you're in the area, Ranch Market & Liquor is the only spot I found with a great selection, and they sell everything as singles!

I haven't been hitting up every Hop Butcher release lately, but every one I get is out of Bedford Park (aka 5 Rabbit). Are they done with Miskatonic as they get ready for Lincoln Ave? Or has there been some out of Darien & I'm just missing them?

    Not real important, just curious.

Just a reminder to buy all the breweries you need before the interest rates go up.

I mistakenly bought it thinking it was just Dun, Dun, Dun with a new label (which has always been one of my favorite HB's). Once I got home and saw Triple, I was mad at myself. I have yet to find a hazy triple I enjoy. But I will agree, this surprised me. I didn't enjoy it enough to want to buy it again, but it is by far one of the better examples of the style I've tried.

Agreed, which is one of the things I typically dislike about them (and the obnoxious sweetness without any bitterness covering it up as opposed to non-hazy triples). But comparatively, I thought this one was a bit more balanced on that front. I've had a couple other HB triples and immediately knew I wasn't opening another can.

Hazy Triples? Did I miss a memo?

    FWIW -- I'll pass, thank you.
