    “TICKETS $185”

    Whoa! :astonished:

This event is for those who can afford all inclusive resorts!! :flushed:

Will be a pass for me (unless I win the Powerball between now and then).

    Cheers!

Ha...well I can't say I haven't spent MORE on beer related things, but yeah that's a fair amount of cash.

Hopefully shipping is included in that price? That would likely explain a lot of the cost.

Shipping is included. Still, that's a lot of money for 12 cans of beer and some charcuterie. I wonder if they did that on purpose to keep the attendees low so the breweries can interact with the participants.

I was 100% prepared to order this based off the title alone until I saw that price. Is it possible to order whatever they're smoking?

Yes, but that is $185 as well.

And for that transaction shipping is not included.

    Cheers!

P.S. And after you are done, your gonna wish you had that charcuterie to nosh on.

In all fairness it does say the pack is to be enjoyed for 1 - 4 people and it comes with 4 tasting glasses. So if you split it with three friends it's not as horrendously priced.

I agree that splitting 4 ways makes the costs much more reasonable, but it also really reduces the beer volume. With only one can of each style in the box.

    • "2 styles from each brewery (one can per style) for tasting during the event.
    • 2 additional styles from each brewery (one can per style) for enjoyment before or after the event at your liesure."
Cool idea and good breweries, but Im out.

Paying $46.25 for four beers and some baloney is more that I would be willing to pay as well.

I am confident that there are others who will willing to pay 'top dollar' here. Maybe the same folks who will pay 25-ish bucks for a four-pack/11.2 ounce bottles of Tipopils?

    Cheers!

Guys you are buying this for the Q and A, I bet fair amount people who buy this thing are brewers and home brewers. This a definitely a research/networking tool. No way I would want to Zoom while drinking with my buddy, if anything is on the screen it is Commando for 59th time.

I wanna see someone crush 12 beers and hold conversation during the event time online.

Something doesn't totally add up because it says 252 ounces, which is more than 12 16 oz beers. (Not by enough to justify the whole cost, but still).

I suppose another way to look at it is, if you were at a bar and got apps plus four beers that price isn’t too outrageous.

    Certainly not for my area.

Comparing beer drinking at home and at bars/restaurants is a fool's errand.

    Definitely true.

But this also isn't equivalent to buying a four pack at the package store or brewery.

This includes delivery, food, and exclusive access to private virtual brewery tours with three breweries, and a Q and A.

For example, a private virtual tour at Allagash is $125 per group. And a private virtual tasting is $75 per group. And neither includes beer.

I'm not buying it, and I'm not saying $185 is (or isn't) justified for this package though.

At least one of the Suarez beers is a 750ml bottle.
