Previously we were told waiting on one beer who is waiting for the could weather to pass to ship and since then at least two beers didn't get shipped and had to be substituted.
Kane was the last beer. The delay was waiting for their new offering to arrive, which hadn't been 100% finalized when the shipping thread was posted on January 17. On top of this, the region was being hit with subzero degree weather and that was being taken into consideration. By the way, Double Double Cask was canned last week just for Extreme Beer Box. The Dogfish Head swap occurred just before the issue with Kane, but took some time to finalize as 10 cases of the replacement beer then went missing on its way to Half Time. So, we needed 10 cases of a replacement beer for the replacement beer. All of these issues happened at the eleventh hour.
Thanks for putting together pieces of all those parts of the kaleidoscope of the great beer puzzle, they all sound fantastic
Definitely need more of this energy in these threads. Too many on here complaining about the replacements. It's just cool we get to have this at all
Yessir I agree. I was telling my wife about some of these yesterday. It was fun to watch her eyebrows get higher and higher up her forehead! She's splitting the sours and ipas with me. Can't wait to dig into these!

Home run for this one by Kane. Will be making a trip there this spring because I forgot how good their beers are.
Just crawling out from under my rock. Bummed about Hawthorne. WWS Utopias though? WTF? That was a Costco shelfie near me. Way to waste the gas and energy on redistributing a distributed beer. Stuff happens, but reading back in history, I can see 11 of the 12 beers were confirmed, with a delay on Kane (and then an eventual swap). Guess I missed the DFH delay and swap news.
Just dropped in to say I am not grumpy. I even checked here before flaming. Seems like a pretty chill group.
