Initial reviews aren't as good as expected. Lots saying overwhelming cinnamon.

 

overwhelming is the succinct way to say “a thoughtful amount of”

 

Rumor has it that @TNCraftBeer was in charge of adding the cinnamon.

Before it was announced as a cinnamon stout I planned to go for this one since I wanted to compare to the Perennial version, but these heavily vanilla/coconut/cinnamon stouts I can't handle more than a small pour. Any chance they do draft or bottle pours on this one?

I'd like to make it down there to grab this package but I work until 4 and it's a 45 minutes drive from work. Almost positive they will be sold out by then

How does BBT '20 compare to '21? I'm considering trying to swap my '21 for a '20 here locally for an even comparison with my '20 Maman bottle.

Plus, it would be fun to have a different BBT 'tick', but the slightly lower ratings make me wonder if the effort is worth it. Then again, I'm sure I'll enjoy it regardless.

 

i had 20 and 21 back to back on NYE. 20 all the way for me. 21 is a touch thinner and definitely had more dark fruit flavors instead of the usual layer upon layer of chocolate.

and slightly lower ratings? i feel like all BBTs beside 2017 hover in the 4.80s on Untappd and 2020 is slightly higher than 2021.
