The For Phil exchange on FB is reminiscent of the 1929 stock market crash. I'm enjoying it.

If you missed out on this, you could probably close one for a Parfait and a crisp high five by the end of today.

Can I expect the cinnamon in For Phil to fade some if given at least several months before opening? I love cinnamon, but I'm worried from some reviews of it that this might rival something like the Transient Prince of Barkness I had a few years back on that front.

 

Cinnamon is an anti-inflammatory, i.e. this should be the perfect beer to recover with after a long run. ISO.

 

i love cinnamon a lot, and in symmetry its was perfect, any more and it would have been too much. any anyone have both side by side for comparison?

Absolutely not! I was just citing that as an example of a beer I've had that was way too aggressive on the cinnamon. It sounds like SP was maybe not as thoughtful as they claim to have been when dosing For Phil with the spice.

 

Anabasis b5 and AdF b3 onsite packages today.

Agreed. I actually just had my first bottle of AdF this past week, but oh how I would love to revisit Anabasis.

Holding out some hope for a small online vintage package.

 

FYI there's one package left of anabasis. Just trying to keep folks from making a trip that's out of their way when it's most likely going to be sold in the next couple minutes

It was. Curious why they go that route? It would definitely sell out regardless plus give more folks a chance to get one. It wasn't very busy and they were pre bagged up. So thinking that there were not very many available to begin with.

 

Maybe it’s a good way to keep locals happy and not complain when more stuff goes online.

 

definitely could be that. could be more of a “we just want to move this inventory” mindset so upping the limit guarantees that.
