Hey folks, I've never let this happen before, so please forgive me... Got home late last night after long hike, cracked into a new beer to try, got caught up making dinner, and forgot to post! Took a picture and all, so here it is 11hrs later...

Northern Presidentials basking in sunset glow as seen from Mt. Field. Banged out 4 peaks yesterday, very tough deep powder conditions over 10 miles caught me off guard without my snowshoes.

Good day BAs! Thanks, @tekstr1der , for starting today's thread - truly beautiful photo! Well, after a dry January, I'm more than ready to begin lowering my alcohol inventory, beginning with some Flying Dog Black Hazy IPA. Not the best they've ever made, but drinkable. Charred malt. Rating 3.23, rDev -11.7%.

    Hey BA's

Happy sunny Tuesday - warmest and nicest day of the week here - as the rain / sleet / and snow will be starting tomorrow / Wed.....more fun shit!

I will be taking the pup for a long walk after lunch, and likely try some more ice fishing off my dock - was not out there long Monday, and got skunked

    Cellar cleanout continues.....

another nice sunrise here - if you have never stopped to watch the sunrise - I highly recommend it.....very peaceful and beautiful

If a beer is black and opague....does it qualify as hazy? :sunglasses: I do see what they did there. Hazy has become a flavor profile?

I started the day with a Fegleys Rude Elf's Reserve, a holiday/christmas beer. That's a really good winter beer. I'd recommend it if you see any. In my glass now is Sterling Pig This Little Piggy Cashmere India Pale Ale. It's a longstanding series of theirs where they use the same IPA recipe and switch out the single hop that they use that time. Cashmere is a nice, soft IPA. Wifey hates bitter hops and she said that she liked this one. I rated it 3.84, which is its only rating.

...roasting bell, Anaheim, and poblano peppers...the poblano and one green pepper will be incorporated into a Southwestern vegetable and chicken soup I'm making (letting it simmer for a few hours, only have to add fresh spinach and serve with fresh cilantro and lime wedges later this evening)...

Up now is Cream Team from Flying Dog. It's a Cookies and Cream Milk Stout. So there's the obvious chocolate cookies dunked in milk thing. And they hit on that. I rated it 4.25, a good chunk above its BA average of 3.96.
