    Hey, the Richmond beer scene started out with breweries buying into old warehouses. Most were successful. They transformed the area.

    Old Rasputin is a great No Bullshit Imperial Stout. If you haven't had the Barrel Aged ones( rye and bouron ) they are worth seeking out.

    Also having a new to me beer today.

    Back in the early ‘60s we used to have drills in school where we would hide under our desks in case of a nuclear attack. I guess that was cutting edge back then

    I lived on Air Force Bases as a kid & we never did. I think they just knew we'd all be at Ground Zero to start with.
