Comment(s) never fail to amuse…“F those that work I guess.”

    Grow up. That’s life.

That 3+ minute sellout was leisurely compared to 2020

I kept getting an error issue saying “billing address can’t be blank”. Tried like 5 times.

Switched cards. Couldn’t remember the 3 digit code. Got it out of my wallet. Fat fingered it twice.

Shocked I still got a ticket

The number of scammers with 3+ tix available on the FB post is great. Hopefully someone pretends to bite, strings them along and then posts screenshots.

I was lucky to get tix to the festival, but my friends all missed out (amateurs ). A few questions, since I’ll have to travel there solo.

    1) Given that tix were gone in a few minutes, maybe there are others in my position. How might one connect with other people so that I can have someone to share my joy at how cool some of the beer offerings are?

    2) What’s this Invitational like compared to others? I’ve been to Weldwerks and Other Half festivals, but would imagine SP is just on another level. Plus, usually people are clamoring to get anything at all from the SP stand at other ones I’ve been to, but I’d imagine it’s a little easier to try their beers at their own invite?

    3) What were the best beer offering for the first one? What did SP bring?

Any other tips or info would be appreciated too!

This was the list from last time. You were handed a pour of OWK as you entered

    1. Usually it’s pretty easy to chat with the folks in line next to you before it opens, so you meet people that way. Ive shown up solo to other on-site SP days and always found someone to chat with/split something. It helps that everyone there loves craft beer!

But I’m also in the solo camp for the invitational, so down to connect before hand with you!

i know everyone waited forever in line for the MT stout and it was a major let down. on the other side of things, i waited like almost zero minutes to get Mikerphone’s BA One Man Wrecking Machine and Holy Mountains Hand Of Glory and they were my two favorite (non SP) pours of the day. the SP line was pretty damn long as i recall for BVC and BBT3.

Very true— immediately have that in common with the people around. And about connecting beforehand, that’d be terrific!

It's a beer fest. You'll be drinking 14%+ ABV social lubricant. You'll find people

Never been to the Invitational, but make sure you eat lots well before, and have your address saved in the ride share app of your choice.

    Cheers.

If there’s anywhere to meet new like minded friends for the day, that’s probably the place.

For anyone curious.. they still have the MV & CDC vintage packages at the cellar. Couldn’t believe it, but I went ahead and picked one up tonight.

I'm now seriously considering running over there at open tomorrow for the MV package, which means they'll sell out tonight. You're all welcome.
