Looking to get some 12 bottle shippers online, anyone have any recommendations on where to purchase these.

    Thanks!

Isn't the best way to get a shipper to just place an order with an online beer store, al la letspour or the like?

I've had good luck finding them at random shipping stores (like a Mailboxes etc) where they receive a lot of packages. Most people who get wine in the mail don't really want to keep their shippers.

Do you just ask random stores? Here in PA we have state run liquor stores. They will occasionally have shippers, but you have to ask.

I called around to a few before I found one that almost always has them, so I just go there when I need one.

I get all of mine from a local wine store for $3 a pop. That's cheaper than a box and packing material for 12 bottles.
Try hitting up local shops in your area is my first suggestion.

I don't know if you are looking for beer specific shippers, but these are designed for 12oz. bottles.

I just received some shippers today from http://mrboxonline.com

you have to enter "beer shipper" into the search box to find them. Shipping seems a bit steep, but the brews I ship are worth it :grinning:.

I ordered the 12 pack size. they come in a second box that allow you to double box if you would like.

12 bottle shippers do make packing really nice, until you try fitting a puppy into a slot. Ends up taking way more time then if you just used a regular box and bubble wrap, and duct tape.

I would never recommend shipping a live dog :grimacing:

If you have a BevMo or totalwine nearby, they should have them.

Bevmo no longer carries the styrofoam shippers.

Yet another point in TotalWine's favor.

If you have a local store that gets gets beer or wine via a shipper they are normally willing to just give you a shipper... Just a cheaper option than buying them!

There is a bottle shop in KC that looks like a barrel. They use (a year ago?) give them away for free all you had to do was ask. - Probably not a lot of help.

Anyone in Chicago need some BM me.
