I happened to be passing through the Catskills recently and stopped at Beer World in Liberty, NY. I've been out of the "scene" for a while (what can I say, life is busy) but I was excited to find so many of my old favorite craft and traditional beers in one place. I got Founders Porter, Sierra Nevada Wet Hop Harvest, some Schlenkerla items, and so on. Again, nothing exotic, but not just the same like six things you see everywhere. I'm having trouble finding a similar selection at any of the local stores here (I live in Fairfield). Any suggestions?
Not exactly what you’re looking for but OEC will deliver Schlenkerla and other imports along with their own beers to a CT address.
Try MO’s in Fairfield. Definitely one of the better selections. It’s been a minute since I’ve been out that way though.
Thanks. Yeah Mo's is pretty decent from what I remember. I used to stop there from time to time. I'll give them another look.
