100% agree on the singles, 2 packs are my favorite to get. I like 4 packs for the core beers though, something like Julius or Hazy.

Singles would be great, but not the way Threes does it when a single is a half-price of a four-pack.

Clearly we are a sorry lot- people complained when you couldn't order 4 packs and now they complain they can't order singles. To be fair, for a luxury product like Tree House, both options should be available. Since we are whinging, I want to express my disappointment that Tree House hasn't put out any of their core APAs recently. Does anyone remember.... Lights On, East Hill, Present Moment....

But I don't think Tree House has 2/4/6 pack holders though, right? I didn't have em when I last visited. They assemble the orders with singles, not packs. Why not offer singles?

Definitely something that keeps me from going back more often.

Feels like the core pale ales got canceled in favor of baby Julius etc. would like to see them come back.

singles would be nice too, I don’t really see any reason why it would slow things down further at this point but I’m assuming they figure they sell more in 2&4 packs.

Did anyone else notice a barrel aged maple stout bottle show up, and then disappear, this morning?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, my favorite TH beers are their pales ales, the three you mentioned especially so. And I will not be buying singles of them when/if they come out again. 12 pack 12 oz cans would be a good format for them!

Agree with this. Most of theirs brews with maybe the exception of Julius taste better after few weeks. I always try to hold back on the big boys. JMHO

Interested to see this new maple/bourbon barrel stout when it pops up for real. At first I was wondering how it's different from Persist. The description (see below from Facebook) makes it sound like the entire batch saw the barrels, and also potentially without coffee in the base beer. I'm sure it's going to rule, but I imagine it will continue the trend of the blended alternatives being better value than the "full" BA options.

"Moment of Truth is a barrel-aged stout brewed with dark amber maple syrup and aged in barrels that previously aged whiskey, then maple syrup. It pours like syrup in the glass and carries flavors & aromas of chocolate-covered maple candies, bourbon-vanilla maple, and rich toffee. It is the culmination of several projects coalescing into a singular beer that we find to be remarkable in its texture and depth of character—Enjoy!"

As someone who has drank almost exclusively bourbon barrel aged beers for the last 3 months, Tree House has vastly underwhelmed me with their BBA offerings. I'm as big a fanboy as anyone, but I can also be objective and have an open mind. They're not in the same league (not even close) as Revolution or Goose Island (GASP, NOT AB IN BEV!!!!!)

OK, what’s the beer with the dino scene on the label?
    Methinx it’s a double.

Often the brewery has different labels for the same brews.

    No name listed.

    Last pkup in late Jan.

    Thankee!

My wife and I are planning a trip to Tree House in April. If we wanted to make it a weekend are there any Hotels nearby with restaurants and bars in walking distance ?

If you're going to be in the area for the weekend I would recommend staying in Worcester and this advice is coming with absolutely no experience there. It's probably a little over 20 minutes from Tree House and I imagine has plenty of hotels with nearby restaurants.

Yes to Worcester, that way you can hit up Armsby Abbey for HF and their crazy tap & bottles. Plus you can Uber over to Shrewsbury Street for decent restaurants. Sturbridge is somewhat touristy (several hotels) but I’m not sure how walkable it is.

I’m extremely curious. They don’t mention it being blended, and it also was listed at the usual 18$.
