    Fresh Hop, a wet-hopped Pale Ale from German brewery Ale-Mania (4.8%).

    I really like the Hallertau Blanc hops here, faded as they may be, which remind me a lot of Nelson Sauvin, but wish the brewer didn't set a 14-month best-by date for this. Of course I should have known better, this being a wet-hopped beer...

    120 is one of my favorites to age…it changes each year it is cellared and continues to impress at 10 years old. My sweet spot is 5 years. Cheers brother!

    Since I have the day off, indulging in a mid afternoon beer - Barn Cat from Bunker Brewing in Portland Maine. Listed as an English Style Dark Mild Ale. 4.8% ABV. Being a Nitro brew it has a nice creamy head and good body, it's quite tasty. It actually reminds me a bit of Murphy's Irish Stout.

    If I do a very very very very very quick glance, it looks to me like Where The Wild Things Are riding The Polar Express. I realize that's most likely a cabin window and not a train. and not really the wild things :wink:

    SHIPA Eclipse, a single-hopped IPA by German brewer Kehrwieder (7.5%).

    I really love the S(ingle)H(op)IPA series, as it always offers a fascinating insight into different and sometimes new-to-me hop varieties like Eclipse, which kinda reminds me of Amarillo, but more earthy and bitter.

    Happy Friday BA's. Today is sunny and very windy in Western NC after a evening of rain with temps not climbing much above 40. Just finished our taxes for the Feds and AZ/NC...a bit of a research challenge with Da Boss still earning from AZ while a resident of NC...wording of regs is the challenge!
    Anyway, figured i deserved a beer or three as a reward for finishing things and today's first choice is the last of the Wicked Weed Guilty Pleasure series i have been imbibing on this week. Brownie is just okay, nothing special about the adjuncts to make this a wow beer. The series was fun to try but have to say will not buy another with all the choices out there.
    Listening to the Garth Brooks Sirius XM channel and he has a good mix of music. Love some of the Temptations stuff with this one being a favorite.

    Got this in a Tavour crate some months ago. Doesn't really shine in any one aspect, but as a whole it's damn good. Well integrated cast of flavors. Just a really solid beer. Cheers!
