Tree House Brewing (2022)

I wish I knew more about modern hops and malts. Wall of Sound has some distinctive traits, it’s not for me, but interesting.

 

I think the current ipa standouts are Treat, Alter Ego, Doubleganger, gggreennn, jjjuiceee project citra nectaron. Of course Julius and Haze are as solid as ever.

 

Yes, as @MattOC said, 2/3/22 BUT, that batch is the best KJ I've had in a minute. Drinks fucking fantastically

 

Any “must” buys from Charlton right now? Like, I’m gonna kick myself if I don’t get it?

 

First time Deerfield and Sandwich didn’t get the BA treatment with Moment of Truth

 

Free to Roam would be up there for me. A lager so likely not on a ton of radars, but I think it’s one of the best beers they do. I’d also snag Trailbreaker. I think they do well with their oak conditioned lagers.

 

Catharsis porter would be my choice.

 

They are great beers, it’s always hard for me to spend 15$ on a sixer of lager or pils when there’s fresh Jacks Abby house lager 15 packs for 16$. Regardless, I agree, free to roam is a very good beer.

 

Looks like Moment of Truth is gone in Charlton.

fuck me, I was legit about to put my order in now and go pick up. had zero clue it was this limited…

 

Same thing happened with me and Yellow. I generally visit th on Tuesday or Wednesday, and felt comfortable waiting until then to grab moment of truth. Oddly enough, my wife is visiting her sisters this weekend, I was very bored last night and decided to grab a sandwich and beer for dinner. I think I left with the smallest to go order ever, a 4 pack and one bottle.

I never would have guessed that it would sell out early Saturday.

 

Doubleganger and Gggreennn and of course Julius would be my choices, along with the lagers @MattOC recommended.

 

Mad I missed out on Yellow as well. Going forward if there’s something I really want I won’t hesitate on it. I’m terrible at ordering stuff beforehand, I was in the car on the way to Deerfield telling my gf to order me Nascent Truth and it sold out between us getting in the car and being 20 min away

I know it’s just beer but the realization that I missed out on something I wanted really stings for a couple minutes lol

wow, I just got home and snagged a bottle. I saw 3 barrels out on the brewing floor that looked like they were about to be emptied and bottled. Could see another new wax top next week. I wonder if that's how many they yielded for MoT.

 

haha of course now that I can’t go it’s back up. hopefully it’s up by tomorrow morning, gonna place order at 9:30am
