Since it’s PtY season: In remembrance when I got PtY in bottles last year in Texas, I’m having a new-to-me IPA from San Antonio: Weathered Souls West Coast Style IPA

 

Ha! As Trillium is a little more accessible for her, She's much more likely to message me from there asking me what I want. Then again, I won't complain about beers from any New England brewery that starts with the letters "Tr" Cheers, man!

Massacre of the Innocents. An IPA brewed by Burial. I received a shipment of four different IPAs/DIPAs from the brewery. This one is not my favorite.

Silver City is kinda old hat in the PNW, but like their larger contemporary, Deschutes, they still make some great beers, and so you underestimate them at your peril. This is the 2021 edition of Old Scrooge, an annual Xmastime barleywine release that is aged in bourbon barrels.

Right now it's doing a fine job of mitigating some dental pain.

 

Trillium is absolutely on my beer map! 100% awesome,,, that should be a yes, please ma’am !

Mortalis BA Hyperion. I’ve been getting away from dessert stouts, but Mortalis has variety in how they do them. Sometimes they’re more traditional stout with subtle flavors, sometimes they’re bombastic. This is most assuredly in the latter type. Maybe literally like a melted Almond Joy bar with coffee. Super thick mouthfeel. Aroma is very nice. Bourbon has bite, but even after two barrels, not enough to fully balance the sweetness.
